This paper analyzes the presence and significance of the night in the novel Wakolda by Lucía Puenzo and also in the film adaptation of the text. The novel presents the short period during which the former Auschwitz extermination camp doctor, Josef Mengele, supposedly spent under the name of Helmut Gregor in Bariloche in Argentina. It is clear that there is no shortage of expressions linked to night when it comes to evoking the horrors committed by the Nazis. True to its etymology, the time between sunset and sunrise, is marked by the presence of darkness conducive to crimes. The paper thus links the night to the ideas of destruction, misfortune and death. The night is analyzed on three levels: as a singular space-temporal concept, as a symbol of criminal acts, and as a mirror of the sexual awakening of the character of Lilith.

Marinas are known to be features related to nautical tourism. Nevertheless, the responsibility of managers does not lie solely on providing accurate services to boats, seafarers and visitors. Thus, an effective management should include other factors, because marinas are embodied in a singular space, with links to diverse nature. Landscape, known as the relationship between people and their environment, represents a set of these links. In this paper, we attempt to delve into the marina management and landscape. Firstly, a targeted exploration of the main issues related to the management of marinas was accomplished. Secondly, based on the previous items, a screening was carried out from a landscape viewpoint with the aim to stablish which elements of marina’s management are significant when tackling landscape. The results indicated that there is a concern with environmental aspects, specifically, on issues related to marine pollution and water quality. However, the determination of the main management-related issues, valued from a landscape perspective, may provide the main issues that need to be addressed in decision-making processes, incorporating the landscape dimension. Thus, we have attempted to understand and discuss how the landscape should be considered in marina management as a potential competitive advantage.

The analysis of the dynamic infrastructure of the social virtuum as an increasing variety of social spheres and dimensions has been conducted. It was shown that to build its logistics in accordance with the cyclical, linear and rhizome changes that from radically re-equip is quite problematic; and therefore, society as a virtuum was explained largely as an abstraction, which, however, can exist as a material formation in space and time. On this basis, the main purpose of the research was conceptualization of the primary mechanisms for managing the social virtuum as a singular space-time continuum based on phenomenological divergence and convergence, as well as an analysis of its conditional logistics and the complexity of its virtual topology. The phenomenological method as the theoretical basis of this research showed the social virtuum as an interconnected unity of various principles of existence in its economic, political, cultural, civilizational, virtual, spiritual dimensions and as a set of events experienced by individuals as continuous primary experiences. The divergent and convergent approaches depicted social processes in continuous interaction, providing progressive movement, stable development and functioning of all existing subsystems of a complexsociety.

We study propagation of phase space singularities for a Schrödinger equation with a Hamiltonian that is the Weyl quantization of a quadratic form with non-negative real part. Phase space singularities are measured by the lack of polynomial decay of given order in open cones in the phase space, which gives a parametrized refinement of the Gabor wave front set. The main result confirms the fundamental role of the singular space associated to the quadratic form for the propagation of phase space singularities. The singularities are contained in the singular space, and propagate in the intersection of the singular space and the initial datum singularities along the flow of the Hamilton vector field associated to the imaginary part of the quadratic form.

Classical physics is a bastion of order and stability, but when creating physics of unstable systems, we are faced with selecting one of many possibilities and limited predictability at all levels of observation. This fact forces us to consider the concepts of instability and chaos in physics, and to describe them by means of singular space.
