MATES in Construction (MATES) is a multimodal, peer-led, workplace suicide prevention and early intervention program developed to reduce the risk of suicide among construction industry workers through active facilitation of appropriate support. The MATES case management model provides an example of a nonclinical service for meeting the needs of individuals in the construction industry who, while at elevated risk of mental health problems and suicidality, are traditionally less likely to seek help. The aim of this research was to conduct an evaluation of the MATES case management database to quantify service demand, and to examine the demographic, occupational profile, presenting issues, referral pathways, and perceived benefit of case management among individuals who used this service. The research reports on routinely collected data from the Queensland MATES case management database, which contains records on 3759 individuals collected over the period 2010–2018, and findings from a small and opportunistic exit survey undertaken with 14 clients in 2019. Overall, findings suggest that the demand for case management through MATES has increased significantly and that clients felt that their needs and concerns were appropriately addressed. The most common presenting issues were relationship, work, and family problems, suicide, and mental health concerns. Findings confirm that causes of distress extend beyond the realm of mental disorder and span a range of psychosocial issues. Significantly, it offers an approach that may divert individuals in crisis away from presenting to over-run emergency departments, and towards services that are more equipped to meet their individual needs.

The forest management database is used for the primary selection of the candidate stands for inclusion in forest genetic resources (FGR). The management and primary processing of the forest management database was performed with the support of standard functions of commonly used software (Microsoft Excel). In 2020, the primary identification area of FGR was 75.7 thousand ha of land covered with forests in the central area of the Republic of Moldova. As a result of the data processing, 12.7 thousand ha, or 16.8% of the study area, of candidate stands were selected for inclusion in the FGR.

A 2017 survey of the state of practice on how agencies are developing their risk-based asset management plan shows that state highway agencies are increasingly adapting the way they do business to include explicit considerations of risks. At the moment, this consideration of risk is not linked to data. Hence, there is a lack of integration of risk management in driving strategic cross-asset programming and decision-making. This paper proposes and implements a risk management database framework as the missing piece in the full implementation of a risk-based transportation asset management program. This risk management database framework utilizes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Application Programming Interface (API) to implement a risk management database of all the relevant variables an agency needs for risk modeling to improve risk monitoring, risk register updates, and decision-making. This approach allows the use of existing enterprise as well as legacy data collection systems, which eliminates the need for any capital-intensive implementation cost. Furthermore, it provides transportation agencies with the ability to track risk in quantitative terms, a framework for prioritizing risk, and the development of an actionable plan for risk mitigation. In this paper, the implementation of the fully integrated GIS-enabled risk management database employs the Iowa department of transportation (DOT) data and risk register.

In Poland, a new register was established in January 2018, namely the Product, Packaging and Waste Management Database (in Polish – BDO). Its creation was partly necessitated by the implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), and Regulation (EC) 1013/2006. The BDO is not only the Register of Notifications and Decisions regarding International Waste Shipments and the Register of Facilities with Issued Pre-Consent, but it is also a waste management tool. The article qualifies the BDO register as a public register under the assumption that, in relation to its recognition as a public register, it can fulfil an additional public utility function, defined as a public service of general interest provided by public authorities. Moreover, the BDO register allows its database content to be searched according to subject terms. It also constitutes a database that fosters the development of B2B services at the local level as it may facilitate searching for local waste collection, transport, recovery (recycling), and disposal providers in accordance with the proximity principle.

SD Kristen Bala Keselamatan terletak di Jalan Dr. Cipto No.64B Kelurahan Bugangan Kecamatan Semarang Timur Kota Semarang.
