Abstract Airlight, an UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) based real time focus and searching light system is a proposed solution which ensures guiding people safely on their path during a dark environment is one less thing to worry about. It is designed to identify a person through algorithms of object detection and also through usage of IoT and sensorics to enable power efficient use of spotlight and hence autonomously guiding people on their path during night-time. Airlight proves to be useful in various sectors such as helping farmers to look after their fields during night-time, security purposes, guiding construction workers while lifting heavy objects, military applications etc.

The term traffic light refers to automatically operated coloured light those help control the traffic. In this piece of writing the term has been used to reflect from the day-to-day practice how one can make use of self-control for their academic success. The aim of introducing the traffic light toolkit in higher education is to ensure that there is an effective way to monitor and improve the learning experience. It was evidenced from previous use that the traffic light system encourage reflection and help continue ongoing self-assessment and improve academic performance level.

ObjectivesThe COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted on the provision of oesophageal physiology investigations. During the recovery phase, triaging tools were empirically recommended by national bodies for prioritisation of referrals amidst rising waiting lists and reduced capacity. We evaluated the performance of an enhanced triage process (ETP) consisting of telephone triage combined with the hierarchical ‘traffic light system’ recommended in the UK for prioritising oesophageal physiology referrals.DesignIn a cross-sectional study of patients referred for oesophageal physiology studies at a tertiary centre, data were compared between patients who underwent oesophageal physiology studies 6 months prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and those who were investigated within 6 months after service resumption with implementation of the ETP.Outcome measuresAdjusted time from referral to investigation; non-attendance rates; the detection of Chicago Classification (CC) oesophageal motility disorders on oesophageal manometry and severity of acid reflux on 24 hours pH/impedance monitoring.ResultsFollowing service resumption, the ETP reduced non-attendance rates from 9.1% to 2.8% (p=0.021). Use of the ‘traffic light system’ identified a higher proportion of patients with CC oesophageal motility disorders in the ‘amber’ and ‘red’ triage categories, compared with the ‘green’ category (p=0.011). ETP also reduced the time to test for those who were subsequently found to have a major CC oesophageal motility diagnosis compared with those with minor CC disorders and normal motility (p=0.004). The ETP did not affect the yield or timing of acid reflux studies.ConclusionETPs can effectively prioritise patients with oesophageal motility disorders and may therefore have a role beyond the current pandemic.

This paper proposes a street lighting system utilizing minimal expense microcontroller-based Arduino. Since there is a need for the industry is to connect heterogeneous equipment parts to the cloud-based internet-based admittance framework for checking and figuring out their conduct from time to time. The principle objective is to plan energy effective keen streetlamp for energy protection in existing streetlamps and safeguarding from theft issue of batteries and sunlight-based chargers in the country and metropolitan region and only for brilliant urban areas, and this paper is to record and send the readings of the proposed module to IoT which building up the reasonable web application on the cloud for Data logging. Ordinarily, we see that streetlamps are remain turned ON during daytime, absence of upkeep of batteries prompts uses misfortune. So for decreasing the referred to issues a portion of the electrical gadgets can guide specific boundaries to the microcontroller which are taken care of with the assistance of Ethernet of Wi-Fi module and associated with the cloud-based framework. A test arrangement has been made to know the situation with gadgets through Laptop/Mobile/PC at any space while associated with the cloud.
