The main purpose of differentiated learning is to provide opportunities for continuous development to any learner and relies on the existence of significant differences between learners. Teaching environment and instruction strategies created according to readiness, learning style, age and interests increase the learner’s motivation, involvement, the degree of achievement of the result, which lies in the formation of knowledge, skills and attitudes according to individual ability. The differentiation theory is employed in two different formats, the first based on teaching activities designed to take into account all learners’ modalities, when the student achieves maximum understanding of the issue with the activity corresponding to his/her dominant modality, and the second format is designed to form groups according to the learning modality and to select appropriate assignments for them; the weakness of the latter is the recognition of the student’s modality by the teacher. According to studies, the desired result is given by the mixed use of both formats.

Thyroid cancer is the most common endocrine malignancy. In general, they are said to be of good prognosis, still there are a few aggressive variants. Differentiated carcinomas like papillary and follicular comprise of major proportion and have a less aggressive clinical behaviour, even though some of them tend to be otherwise. De-differentiated and undifferentiated cancers are more aggressive. There has been an already existing theory that these de-differentiated cancers arise from differentiated ones by a process of stepwise molecular changes. There are already reported cases of coexistence of multiple histologies. Appreciation of dedifferentiation and identification of the genetic changes may be of help in forming improved treatment strategies, including targeted therapy. This article is to report a rare case we came across, in which three different histologies coexisted and may be pointing towards graded de-differentiation pattern. This is a further support to the stepwise de-differentiation theory.

Through the construction and application of the temperature and humidity precision control model of the differentiation theory, and on the basis of customer needs, the temperature and humidity precision control model based on the differentiation theory is proposed. The core concept is to implement differential control in time and zone, and use zone control, Card edge control, dual-mode control and other control methods to achieve stable, reliable and precise control of the temperature and humidity of the production environment, so as to reduce the energy consumption of the air conditioning system.

In this article, I argue that while the Global South has replaced the Third World as the prevalent term for describing structural global inequalities in International Relations, little research is directed at its theoretical implications. I discuss the conceptual evolution of the term from the Third World narrative, interpreting the literature as an implicit rejection of myopic ontologies relying on economic, cultural, or political hierarchies. I then suggest connecting the terminology to the theory of functional differentiation. By avoiding forms inherited from classical social theory, the Global South can be conceptualized in a more productive way that is better attuned to contemporary theoretical discussions.
