Carlos Pau was one of the first Spanish botanists interested in the flora of northern Morocco. He proposed 421 taxa for this area, including some illegitimate names and nomina nuda. A complete and annotated catalogue of names by Pau for Moroccan taxa is presented here. For all of them, the typification and synonymy have been evaluated. For 63 taxa the holotype is indicated, and 206 taxa are typified here. The main collection of Pau and most types are preserved in Herb. MA, but many types have also been found in Herb. BC and other European herbaria.

This catalog contains basic information on the helminth type specimens stored in the Institute's Collection, namely, inventory numbers, inventory and status of a type material; the type host, type localization and type location are also indicated. Information is also given on the collection date and collector name, as well as material amount and its preservation quality. For each species, bibliographical references to the original publication and illustrations of type specimens taken from the original sources are given. Where necessary, the descriptions were supplemented with notes regarding the name taxonomic status, fairness or reliability of the published data, the need for nomenclature amendments, etc.

The dichotomous keys to 106 species from 62 genera of Ennominae (Lepidoptera: Geometridae) of the Baikal region (Irkutskaya Oblast and Buryatia, Russia) is given. The annotated catalogue including synonyms, the details of examined specimens, data on distribution and hostplants with references is provided. Distribution of Macaria artesiaria ([Denis et Schiffermüller], 1775) in the Baikal region is confirmed. One species is newly combined with genus Hypoxystis Prout, 1915: H. reticulata (Sterneck, 1928) comb. nov. The genus name Scardostrenia Sterneck, 1928 is established to be a synonym of Hypoxystis Prout, 1915 syn. n. Some taxonomic aspects of Charissa turfosaria (Wehrli, 1922), Hypoxystis reticulata (Sterneck, 1928), Synopsia strictaria Lederer, 1853 and Autotrichia heterogynoides (Wehrli, 1927) are discussed. New westernmost boundary of the range of Abraxas karafutonis Matsumura, 1925 is established.

Greece, as one of the European biodiversity hotspots, is long since in the focus of botanical investigations. Among historical researchers significantly contributing to the floristic and taxonomic exploration was Eugen von Halácsy, a Viennese physician and botanist. He was the first and so far last author of a complete Greek flora, the Conspectus Florae Graecae, and has compiled a seminal herbarium collection of plant specimens originating from Greece. This Herbarium Graecum of approx. 26,000 vouchers, is today held by the Herbarium of the University of Vienna (WU). Investigations for original material in this collection yielded a total of 1,439 (approx. 5.5 %) vouchers. The current type status was checked for the entire material, the vouchers were databased, photographed and geo-referenced, and the data are made publicly available here. These results are presented in an annotated catalogue including 19 lectotypifications, in order to contribute to the still extremely active field of plant biodiversity research in Greece.

An annotated catalogue for 22 extant species of the subfamily Rhysodinae (Coleoptera: Carabidae) from East Asia is presented, with 7 genera classified into 3 tribes: I. Clinidiini Bell & Bell, 1978: Clinidium Kirby, 1830 (1 sp.) and Rhyzodiastes Fairmaire, 1895 (4 spp.); II. Omoglymmiini Bell & Bell, 1978: Arrowina Bell & Bell, 1978 (1 sp.), Yamatosa Bell & Bell, 1979 (6 spp.), Shyrodes Grouvelle, 1903 (1 sp.), and Omoglymmius Ganglbauer, 1891 (8 spp.); III. Rhysodini Laporte, 1840: Rhysodes Germar, 1822 (1 sp.). For each genus- and species-group name, synonymy, type locality, type depository, distribution, and bibliography are provided where appropriate. A modified key to genera of rhysodine beetles from East Asia is compiled.

An annotated list of Iranian digger wasps of the genus Tachysphex Kohl, 1883 (Hymenoptera, Apoidea, Crabronidae) is presented based on the material collected in the southern part of the country and on data published from the period 1933-March 2020 (87 years). In all, 46 species of eight species-groups are documented (T. persa has two subspecies: T. persa persa Gussakovskij, 1933 and T. persa nigripes Pulawski, 1967). Of the eight species-groups, the pompiliformis species-group (17 species) and the panzer species-group (11 species) are the most species-rich, whereas the brevipennis species-group is represented by only one species. The following three species are newly recorded from Iran, all from Fars Province: T. helveticus Kohl, 1885, T. melas Kohl, 1898 and T. palopterus (Dahlbom, 1845). About 19 (41.30%) of the species included here are exclusively Palaearctic, whereas 15 species (32.61%) have wider distributions in the Afrotropical, Palaearctic and Oriental zoogeographic regions. Neighboring countries have many species that overlap with the Iranian Tachysphex fauna; Iran shares 36 species (78.20%) with Turkey, 28 species (60.86%) with Turkmenistan and 18 species (39.13%) with United Arab Emirates.
