As everyday problems contain a lot of data and ambiguity, it has become necessary to develop new mathematical approaches to address them and soft set theory is the best tool to deal with such problems. Hence, in this article, we introduce a non-continuous mapping in soft settings called soft U -continuous. We mainly focus on studying soft U -continuity and its connection to soft continuity. We further show that soft U -continuity preserves soft compact sets and soft connected sets. The later sets have various applications in computing science and decision making theory. In the end, we show that if each soft U -continuous mapping f from a soft space X into a soft T 0-space Y is soft continuous, then Y is soft T 1.

This paper is devoted to describe the notion of a parameterized degree of continuity for mappings between L -fuzzy soft topological spaces, where L is a complete De Morgan algebra. The degrees of openness, closedness, and being a homeomorphism for the fuzzy soft mappings are also presented. The properties and characterizations of the proposed notions are pictured. Besides, the degree of continuity for a fuzzy soft mapping is unified with the degree of compactness and connectedness in a natural way.

In the present paper, we introduce g−open soft mapping, g−closed soft mapping, g−pseudo-open soft mapping, g−quotient soft mapping on soft generalized topological spaces. Furthermore, we discuss some characterizations and some applications of them.

The main purpose of this chapter is to introduce the notions of ?-operation, pre-open soft set a-open sets, semi open soft set and ß-open soft sets to soft topological spaces. We study the relations between these different types of subsets of soft topological spaces. We introduce new soft separation axioms based on the semi open soft sets which are more general than of the open soft sets. We show that the properties of soft semi Ti-spaces (i=1,2) are soft topological properties under the bijection and irresolute open soft mapping. Also, we introduce the notion of supra soft topological spaces. Moreover, we introduce the concept of supra generalized closed soft sets (supra g-closed soft for short) in a supra topological space (X,µ,E) and study their properties in detail.

This chapter is about soft sets. A brief account of the developments that took place in last 14 years in the field of Soft Sets Theory (SST) has been presented. It begins with a brief introduction on soft sets and then it describes many generalizations of it. The notions of generalized fuzzy soft sets are defined and their properties are studied. After that, a notion of mapping, called soft mapping, in soft set setting is introduced. Later, algebraic structures on soft sets like soft group, soft ring, etc. are discussed. Then the next section deals with the concept of topology on soft sets. Here two notions of topology in soft sets are introduced, which are the topology of soft subsets and the soft topology, respectively. The idea of entropy for soft sets is defined in the later section. Next, some applications of hybrid soft sets in solving real life problems like medical diagnosis, decision-making, etc. are shown. Issues like measurement of similarity of soft sets are also addressed.
