<p>In the philosophy of rough set theory, the methodologies of rough soft sets and rough fuzzy sets have been being examined to be efficient mathematical tools to deal with unpredictability. The basic of approximations in rough set theory is based on equivalence relations. In the aftermath, such theory is extended by arbitrary binary relations and fuzzy relations for more wide approximation spaces. In recent years, the notion of picture hesitant fuzzy relations by Mathew et al. can be considered as a novel extension of fuzzy relations. Then this paper proposes extended approximations into rough soft sets and rough fuzzy sets from the viewpoint of its. We give corresponding examples to illustrate the correctness of such approximations. The relationships between the set-valued picture hesitant fuzzy relations with the upper (resp., lower) rough approximations of soft sets and fuzzy sets are investigated. Especially, it is shown that every non-rough soft set and non-rough fuzzy set can be induced by set-valued picture hesitant fuzzy reflexive relations and set-valued picture hesitant fuzzy antisymmetric relations. By processing the approximations and advantages in the new existing tools, some terms and products have been applied to semigroups. Then, we provide attractive results of upper (resp., lower) rough approximations of prime idealistic soft semigroups over semigroups and fuzzy prime ideals of semigroups induced by set-valued picture hesitant fuzzy relations on semigroups.</p>

In recent years, q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets have been appeared to deal with an increase in the value of q > 1 , which allows obtaining membership and nonmembership grades from a larger area. Practically, it covers those membership and nonmembership grades, which are not in the range of intuitionistic fuzzy sets. The hybrid form of q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets with soft sets have emerged as a useful framework in fuzzy mathematics and decision-makings. In this paper, we presented group generalized q-rung orthopair fuzzy soft sets (GGq-ROFSSs) by using the combination of q-rung orthopair fuzzy soft sets and q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets. We investigated some basic operations on GGq-ROFSSs. Notably, we initiated new averaging and geometric aggregation operators on GGq-ROFSSs and investigated their underlying properties. A multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) framework is presented and validated through a numerical example. Finally, we showed the interconnection of our methodology with other existing methods.

As everyday problems contain a lot of data and ambiguity, it has become necessary to develop new mathematical approaches to address them and soft set theory is the best tool to deal with such problems. Hence, in this article, we introduce a non-continuous mapping in soft settings called soft U -continuous. We mainly focus on studying soft U -continuity and its connection to soft continuity. We further show that soft U -continuity preserves soft compact sets and soft connected sets. The later sets have various applications in computing science and decision making theory. In the end, we show that if each soft U -continuous mapping f from a soft space X into a soft T 0-space Y is soft continuous, then Y is soft T 1.

In this study, new operations of union, intersection, and complement are defined with the help of vague soft sets in a new way that is in both true and false statements, union is defined with maximum, and intersection is defined with minimum. On the basis of these operations, vague soft topology is defined. Pairwise vague soft open sets and pairwise vague soft closed sets are defined in vague soft bitopological structures (VSBTS). Moreover, generalized vague soft open sets are introduced in VSBTS concerning soft points of the space. On the basis of generalized vague soft open sets, separation axioms are also introduced. In continuation, these separations axioms are engaged with other important results in VSBTS.

There are many approaches to deal with vagueness and ambiguity including soft sets and rough sets. Feng et al. initiated the concept of possible hybridization of soft sets and rough sets. They introduced the concept of soft rough sets, in which parameterized subsets of a universe set serve as the building blocks for lower and upper approximations of a subset. Topological notions play a vital role in rough sets and soft rough sets. So, the basic objectives of the current work are as follows: first, we find answers to some very important questions, such as how to determine the probability that a subset of the universe is definable. Some more similar questions are answered in rough sets and their extensions. Secondly, we enhance soft rough sets from topological perspective and introduce topological soft rough sets. We explore some of their properties to improve existing techniques. A comparison has been made with some existing studies to show that accuracy measure of proposed technique shows an improvement. Proposed technique has been employed in decision-making problem for diagnosing heart failure. For this two algorithms have been given.

Recently, using interval-valued fuzzy soft sets to rank alternatives has become an important research area in decision-making because it provides decision-makers with the best option in a vague and uncertain environment. The present study aims to give an extensive insight into decision-making processes relying on a preference relationship of interval-valued fuzzy soft sets. Firstly, interval-valued fuzzy soft preorderings and an interval-valued fuzzy soft equivalence are established based on the interval-valued fuzzy soft topology. Then, two crisp preordering sets, namely lower crisp and upper crisp preordering sets, are proposed. Next, a score function depending on comparison matrices is expressed in solving multi-group decision-making problems. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the validity and efficacy of the proposed method.

The notion of a semiring-valued fuzzy set is introduced for special commutative partially pre-ordered semirings, including basic operations with these fuzzy structures. It is showed that many standard MV-algebra-valued fuzzy type structures with standard operations, such as hesitant, intuitionistic, neutrosophic or fuzzy soft sets are, for appropriate semirings, isomorphic to semiring-valued fuzzy sets with operations defined. F-transform and inverse F-transform are introduced for semiring-valued fuzzy sets and properties of these transformations are investigated. Using the transformation of MV-algebra-valued fuzzy type structures to semiring-valued fuzzy sets, the F-transforms for these fuzzy type structures is introduced. The advantage of this procedure is, among other things, that the properties of this F-transform are analogous to the properties of the classical F-transform and because these properties are proven for any semiring-valued fuzzy sets, it is not necessary to prove them for individual fuzzy type structures.
