Business ventures have experienced environments pertaining to rapid morphological changes that have led to the adoption of entrepreneurial teams as opposed to singular individuals. With such a high potential for failure, startups must revert into the foundation of their organization to ensure success and longevity through the formation of an entrepreneurial team. The formation of the entrepreneurial team leads itself to debate due to its diverse linkage with surrounding contexts and the endless combinations of team characteristics. This paper will start by exploring surrounding contexts that affect the performance of entrepreneurship, providing a landscape to the approach of “individual versus team entrepreneur”. The study will shift into venture capitalists and their startup selection criteria lending way to the assumption that entrepreneurial teams are more likely to receive investor funding due to possible parallels in expertise and personalities between the team and the venture capitalist. Afterwards, previous literature will be explored on the components of the entrepreneurial team, creating a structure for the ideal way of composing a team based on the heterogeneous skills and homogenous personalities. The John Holland (IESC Theory) and the Theory of Predicted Behavior will provide evidence towards the efficiency and applicability of the TEAM framework, establishing that a structure including 4 main individual types is required for synergy within a new venture; The Entrepreneur, The Manager, The Technical Expert, and the Assisting Functions. By implementing the TEAM framework, startup success rates can increase and provide substantial benefits for both the entrepreneur and the fund investor.

The current study aimed to develop a list of professional tendencies and verify the implications of its validity and reliability and know the professional tendencies and impact of gender variables and the degree of disability on hearing-impaired people's professional tendencies. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed the list of Arabized professional tendencies of John Holland in a way that suits the characteristics of the hearing-impaired and using the previous literature and previous studies, where the indications of validity and reliability were extracted from the pilot study, then the study tool was applied to the final sample, which consisted of (118) hearing-impaired individuals from deaf schools and vocational rehabilitation centers in Jordan who are in the stage of professional selection in cooperation with my translators of sign language of schools and rehabilitation centers, where the study reached the indications of validity and reliability of the study tool, the study also found that there was no effect of gender and degree of disability variable on the professional tendencies of hearing-impaired people, as it came out with a set of research and educational recommendations.

Chapter 6 examines one of the greatest unsolved challenges in mathematics - the problem of finding the best solution from a large number of possibilities. The Traveling Salesman Problem requires that the shortest tour of a group of cities is determined. Surprisingly, the only way to guarantee finding the shortest tour is to measure the length of all possible tours. Exhaustive search such as this is very slow. For centuries, mathematicians have sought to find fast algorithms for solving combinatorial search problems. The most famous was invented by Edsger Dijkstra in 1956. Dijkstra’s algorithm finds the shortest route between cities on a roadmap and is now used in all satellite navigation apps. The Gale-Shapley algorithm solves the problem of matching pairs of items according to user preferences. John Holland took the radical step of accelerating combinatorial search by mimicking natural evolution in a computer.

In the third chapter I argue that the Libelle (1436–7) was written by Richard Caudray, clerk of the council until 1435, thereafter secretary to John Holland, admiral of England, and dean of St Martin le Grand in London. The Libelle, I maintain, is not an attempt to mask his identity; on the contrary, the intended recipients were council members and, together with the approving authority, John Hungerford, all of them were familiar with the author. The textual ‘I’ of the Libelle is Caudray, and the poem is an example of an instance of indexical and self-referential writing misread as deliberately anonymous.

This chapter unpacks a highly significant and unusual example of a post-English Civil War era Catholic woman’s conversion narrative. Catherine Holland was the daughter of Sir John Holland, a moderate Protestant parliamentary politician, and Alathea Sandys, a Catholic. During her teens and twenties Holland began to feel drawn to Catholic doctrine and practice, and at the age of twenty-five she ran away from home to join the Nazareth convent where she soon after authored a conversion narrative modelled on Augustine’s Confessions. The unique manuscript of ‘How I Came to Change My Religion’ also contains prayers and lists, all of which have been provided in their entirety as an appendix to this volume. This chapter charts Holland’s literary response to Confessions and developments in her self-fashioning through this literature as well as translations written during more than five decades at the convent. This chapter and edition provide unprecedented access to a significant early modern writer who was willing to defy parents, Protestant bishops, and reluctant Jesuits in order to achieve ‘liberty of conscience’ and ‘escape the slavery of marriage’. The edition may be particularly valuable to teachers and students studying conversion narratives, women’s writing, gender, and Confessions.

Από την πρωτόγονη κοινωνία έως και τις ημέρες μας, ο αθλητισμός διαδραμάτισε και διαδραματίζει σημαντικό ρόλο σε όλους τους τομείς της ζωής και της εξέλιξης των ανθρώπων. Από την εποχή της Βιομηχανικής Επανάστασης σηματοδοτήθηκε η μορφή και η οργάνωση του σύγχρονου αθλητισμού.  Στο πλαίσιο της οργάνωσης της επιστήμης του αθλητισμού άρχισε να συστηματο- ποιείται η έννοια του ταλέντου, τα κριτήρια επιλογής ενός ταλαντούχου αθλητή και η εξέλιξή του. Γίνεται  μια σύντομη ιστορική αναδρομή του αθλητισμού σε σημαντικές χρονικές περιόδους της ανθρωπότητας και αναπτύσσεται το θέμα της  ανίχνευσης  και εκπαίδευσης  ταλέντων στο  ελληνικό  ποδόσφαιρο  και στην καλαθοσφαίριση.    Σκοπός της έρευνάς μας είναι η διαπίστωση ψυχολογικών παραμέτρων που συνδέονται με πλευρές της πολλαπλής νοημοσύνης, τις ομάδες ενδιαφερόντων και την αυτοεκτίμηση.                                                                       Στην έρευνά μας  συμμετείχαν 153 παιδιά ηλικίας 5 έως 18 ετών που αθλούνται σε  δύο  Ακαδημίες  Ποδοσφαίρου  και σε  τρεις Ακαδημίες Καλαθοσφαίρισης καθώς  και  8 προπονητές. Η έρευνα επικεντρώνεται στις  Ομάδες ενδιαφερόντων (test John Holland), στην Πολλαπλή Νοημοσύνη (test Pierrette Boudreau  & Ginette Grenier)  και στην Αυτοεκτίμηση (test αποδοχής εαυτού  και των άλλων της κας Χρυσούλας  Κοσμίδου).                                                                        Από την ανάλυση των εργαλείων της έρευνας προέκυψαν οι ομάδες επαγγελματι- κών ενδιαφερόντων του κάθε παιδιού, τα ποσοστά στα οποία κάθε παιδί – αθλητής διαθέτει  καθεμιά από τις οχτώ πλευρές της νοημοσύνης καθώς και ο βαθμός αυτο-  αποδοχής του και αποδοχής των άλλων. Από τη μελέτη διαπιστώθηκε ότι στη χώρα μας παιδιά και έφηβοι με ιδιαίτερο ταλέντο και χαρισματικότητα στον αθλητισμό εκπαιδεύονται με συστηματικό τρόπο και για πολλά έτη. Αντίθετα, στη δημόσια εκπαίδευση (μαθηματικά, γλώσσα, κλπ) δε δίνονται ανάλογες ευκαιρίες για παιδιά με ιδιαίτερες ικανότητες και χαρισματικότητα εκτός αθλητισμού και μουσικής.    Τα όσα προέκυψαν από την όλη ερευνητική διαδικασία μας οδηγούν στο συμπέρασμα ότι το ταλέντο και η χαρισματικότητα του κάθε παιδιού – αθλητή  σχετίζονται  άμεσα  με την εκτίμηση που τρέφει  για τον εαυτόν του και για τους άλλους, με τις ομάδες ενδιαφερόντων του καθώς και με το ποσοστό στο οποίο διαθέτει καθεμιά από τις πλευρές της νοημοσύνης.

<p>ABSTRACT<br />This research is aimed at providing student location information to students in accordance with<br />their respective competencies. The most important thing is to direct students to an apprenticeship<br />location that is in accordance with their competencies because it will greatly influence their career<br />in the future. Armed with skills at the internship location, students can improve their competence in<br />accordance with market demand (demand driven). The program at the end of semester 5 at the end<br />of the semester students have to find an internship location. Someone is said to be competent in a<br />field if it meets the aspects of knowledge, skill and attitude. Knowledge, skills and attitudes (PKS)<br />are strongly influenced by the learning system and learning environment. The tools developed are<br />an application based on Artificial Intelligence using the Elman Recurrent Neural Network (ERNN)<br />method. ERNN is a Artificial Terms Network method that has a feedback connection from previous<br />input, so that it is expected to improve the performance of ANN. The structure makes iteration will<br />be much faster and convergence will be faster in the training process. The system developed will be<br />able to produce apprenticeship location recommendations in accordance with student competencies<br />using previous apprenticeship data. The data used is measurable and includes a Grade Point<br />Average that represents aspects of knowledge, aspects of skills adapted to subjects related to<br />graduate profiles, personality tests that have international standards developed by John Holland<br />represent aspects of attitude.<br />Keywords : Recommended internship locations, Artificial Terms Network, Artificial<br />Intelligence, demand driven, Successful career in Industry<br />ABSTRAK<br />Penelitian ini adalah bertujuan memberikan informasi lokasi magang kepada mahasiswa sesuai<br />dengan kompetensi masing-masing. Hal yang paling penting adalah mengarahkan mahasiswa ke<br />lokasi magang yang sesuai dengan kompetensinya karena akan sangat besar pengaruhnya dengan<br />karir mereka di masa depan. Dengan berbekal keterampilan di lokasi magang, mahasiswa dapat<br />meningkatkan kompetensinya sesuai dengan permintaan pasar (demand driven). Program saat akhir<br />semester 5 di akhir semester mahasiswa sudah harus mencari lokasi magang. Seseorang dikatakan<br />kompeten di suatu bidang apabila memenuhi telah memenuhi aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan<br />sikap. Pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap sangat dipengaruhi oleh sistem pembelajaran dan<br />lingkungan belajar. Tools yang dikembangkan adalah sebuah aplikasi berbasis Artificial<br />Intelligence menggunakan metode Elman Recurrent Neural Network (ERNN). ERNN adalah<br />sebuah metode Jaringan Syarat Tiruan yang memiliki koneksi umpan balik dari masukan<br />sebelumnya, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja JST. Struktur tersebut membuat<br />iterasi akan jauh lebih cepat dan konvergensi akan menjadi lebih cepat dalam proses training.Sistem<br />yang dikembangkan akan dapat menghasilkan rekomendasi lokasi magang sesuai dengan<br />kompetensi mahasiswa menggunakan data magang sebelumnya. Adapun data yang digunakan<br />bersifat terukur dan meliputi ketiga aspek PKS seperti Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif yang mewakili<br />aspek pengetahuan, aspek keterampilan disesuaikan dengan mata kuliah yang berhubungan dengan<br />profil lulusan, tes kepribadian yang sudah berstandar internasional yang dikembangkan oleh John<br />Holland mewakili aspek sikap.</p><p>Kata kunci: Rekomendasi lokasi magang, Jaringan Syarat Tiruan, Artificial Intelligence,<br />demand driven, Sukses berkarir di Industri</p>
