ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY OF SOLUTIONS OF IONIC LIQUIDS BASED ON 1-ALKYL-2-METHYLPYRIDINIUM SALTS WITH INORGANIC ANIONS IN ACETONITRILE

Методом Ли-Уитона рассчитаны константы ионной ассоциации K, предельная молярная электрическая проводимости (λ) и энергия Гиббса ассоциации (ΔG) в растворах. The authors of the work obtained ionic liquids with 1-alkyl-2-methylpiridinium cation and inorganic anions. Studies of the electrical conductivity of their solutions in acetonitrile have been carried out. The Li-Wheaton method was used to calculate the ion association constants K, the limiting molar electrical conductivity (λ), and the Gibbs association energy (ΔG) in solutions.

Complexation and bonding studies on [Ru(NO)(H2O)5]3+ with nitrate ions by using density functional theory calculation

Density functional study on the complexation of [Ru(NO)(H2O)5]3+ with NO3− ions reproduced the stabilities of the geometrical isomers and the stepwise substitution reactivities by combining the association energy with the leaving/entering ligands.

Mechanisms for the inhibition of amyloid aggregation by small ligands

This work investigates by biochemical, biophysical and MD techniques the opposite anti-amyloid properties of resveratrol and rosmarinic acid on the aggregation of hen egg white lysozyme (HEWL). Differences in association energy and contact maps were found that explain the different behaviours.
