Environmental Films can be used to develop people’s sustainable thinking. There have been many environmental films from 1964 to 2019 focusing on environmental issues. Although these films seem to be the logistics of the environment and the digital world, they are a suitable way to educate mass people about the environment in an informal way. These environmental films are the path to environmental gates. The environmental film is actually a real-world reel experience on environmental issues. Through environmental film, people are learning sustainable environmental thinking and growing their environmental knowledge too. At present, many scientific methods are being considered to save nature, but if these environmental films are included with the course curriculum, they will be beneficial to sustainable development. Environmental issues-oriented Films are helpful for making awareness, consciousness, and decision-making process to cope the contemporary environmental issues. The Reel of environmental films can present real environmental facts on contemporary issues of the environment that are important for academicians to politicians for environmental education. This article highlights the importance of environmental films to make environmental awareness of mass people.

Here, we successfully prepared macroscopically oriented films of Cu-based pillar-layered MOFs (Cu2(Linker)2DABCO) having regularly ordered 1D nanochannels. The direction of 1D nanochannels was controllable by optimizing the crystal growth process; 1D nanochannels either perpendicular or parallel to substrates, which offer molecular-scale pore arrays for a macroscopic alignment of functional guest molecules in the desired direction. We also showed the fabrication of oriented Cu2(Linker)2DABCO MOF patterns, where the direction of 1D nanochannels is controllable on individual locations on the same substrate. These Cu2(Linker)2DABCO MOF films and patterns with controlled orientation are importante steps towards the development of MOF film-based applications such as sensors and electrical/optical devices because functionalities derived from the accommodated guest species in their 1D nanochannels are optimized for the rational direction on the desired substrate for the device fabrication.<br>

This chapter focuses on the roadshow release of the movie adaptation of Half a Sixpence. The chapter reads the film as a product of its immediate industrial context: it was one of a number of Broadway-Hollywood adaptations that were intended as part of a risk-reduction strategy, it was spectacular and relatively faithful to its stage version, and it had an unusual and markedly contemporary visual style, akin to that found in the low-budget, youth oriented films of the Hollywood Renaissance. Thus, although the movie was no hit, it was not a completely misguided production: the chapter explains that instead it was intended to address the musical genre’s need to adapt to a new industrial climate in order to prolong its marketability into the 1970s.
