Abstract The design, research and development, test, operation and maintenance of power grid substation equipment are relatively independent. Related problems in each link cannot be comprehensively managed from the perspective of the full life cycle of equipment. Operation and maintenance personnel need to face data monitoring, network monitoring, equipment monitoring, business system monitoring, fault diagnosis and repair and other business scenarios. There are many types of information, complex association relationship, abstract and inefficient operation and maintenance information, “man-machine-object” can not be two-way cooperation and interaction, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting difficulties. Digital substation intelligent monitoring operational digital twin applications, digital intelligent substation operations provide operational monitoring service ability, realize the grid digital substation twin modeling and environment reconstruction, false or true merged superposition, two-way coordinated interaction, twin intelligence operations and panoramic visual monitoring, field devices for power grid operation maintenance, resource scheduling, and construction planning to provide guidance, Fully guarantee the safe and reliable operation of power grid equipment, realize the full life cycle management of power grid equipment, and improve the level of intelligence, visualization and digitalization of power grid.

Технология цифровых двойников является одной из базовых технологий в процессе «цифровизации» энергетики. Важным компонентом цифрового двойника является сбор данных с физического объекта для мониторинга и управления этим объектом. Современные средства информационного обеспечения задач управления режимами ЕЭС России - SCADA и СМПР - предоставляют в центры диспетчерского управления огромные объемы информации, которая может быть использована для создания цифрового двойника отдельного объекта энергетики или всей энергосистемы в целом. В статье для снижения объемов и стоимости передачи и хранения больших объемов данных при создании цифровых двойников объектов энергетики предлагается использовать технологию «Edge Analytics» - граничной аналитики, которая позволяет осуществлять сбор, обработку и анализ данных на периферийных устройствах сети рядом с источником информации. В качестве объекта для создания цифрового двойника рассматривается современная цифровая подстанция. The technology of digital twins is a basic one in the process of energy "digitalization." An essential component of the digital twin development is data collection from a physical facility to monitor and control this facility. Advanced information support systems designed to control the UES of Russia (SCADA and WAMS) provide control centers with considerable amounts of information, which can be used to create a digital twin of an individual energy facility or entire power system. This paper proposes the use of edge analytics technology that enables the collection, processing, and analysis of data on network peripheral units near the information source, to reduce the amount and cost of transmission and storage of a whole host of data when creating digital twins of energy facilities. A modern digital substation is considered as a facility to be digitally twinned.

In this paper, the status of digital substation network monitoring and message analysis is introduced, the procedures and execution process of the typical business chains are analyzed such as control business chain, relay action business chain, measurement business chain, and the analysis and display method of digital substation network based on business chains is proposed. Taking the control business chain as an example, the model mapping method of business chain and the key information points of the protocols are illustrated. The function of the analysis and display method of digital substation network based on business chains is realized via multi-protocols association analysis. The verification instance is presented, the beneficial effects and further improvement of the method are summarized.

Perkembangan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam sektor ketenagalistrikan mendorong perkembangan teknologi gardu induk konvensional ke arah Digital substation. Sebagai pertimbangan sebelum diimplementasikan di PT PLN (Persero), maka dilakukan kajian literatur terkait standar, protokol komunikasi, network redundancy, time synchronization, serta kelebihan dan isu pada teknologi tersebut seperti yang disajikan pada makalah ini; selain itu, diskusi dengan pabrikan Digital substation yang ada di Indonesia juga dilakukan untuk memperkaya studi literatur yang dilakukan. Teknologi Digital substation mengacu pada standar IEC 61850, dapat dilengkapi dengan network redundancy berupa parallel redudancy protocol (PRP) atau high-availability seamless redudancy (HSR), serta precission time protocol (PTP) untuk kebutuhan sinkronisasi waktunya. Digital substation memiliki banyak kelebihan diantaranya yaitu kebutuhan copper wire yang rendah, transportasi dan space yang lebih sedikit, instalasi peralatan sekunder lebih singkat, penghematan biaya (instalasi, operasi, dan pemeliharaan), pemadaman lebih singkat, peningkatan keamanan dan utilisasi aset. Sedangkan isu yang ada pada Digital substation diantaranya maturity, interoperability, reliability, time synchronisation, network configuration dan bandwith management, cyber security, mixed mode, backward compatibility, suhu dan kelembaban. Selain itu, masih terdapat permasalahan pada substation automation system (SAS) yang sudah terpasang dalam rangka menuju teknologi Digital substation, namun belum tertangani dengan baik. Maturity level dari teknologi Digital substation menjadi bahan pertimbangan dalam penerapan teknologi tersebut di sistem ketenagalistrikan.
