In this paper, an ultra-wideband fully differential two-stage telescopic 65-nm CMOS op-amp is presented, which uses low-voltage design techniques such as level shifter circuits and low-voltage cascode current mirrors. The designed op-amp consists of two stages. While the telescopic first stage provides high speed and low swing, the second stage provides high gain and large swing. Common-mode feedback circuits (CMFB), which contain five transistors OTA and sensing resistors, are used to set the first-stage output to a known value. The designed two-stage telescopic operational amplifier has 41.04[Formula: see text]dB lower frequency gain, 1.81[Formula: see text]GHz gain-bandwidth product (GBW) and 51.9∘ phase margin under 5[Formula: see text]pF load capacitance. The design consumes a total current of 11.9[Formula: see text]mA from a 1.2-V supply voltage. Presented fully differential two-stage telescopic op-amp by using low-voltage design techniques is suitable for active filter in vehicle-to-everything (V2X) applications with 120[Formula: see text][Formula: see text]m[Formula: see text]m layout area.

The recent trends show the interconnection of PV system with electric grid. With this configuration the issue of harmonics comes into existence. The mounting figure of power-electronic instruments has formed considerable impression on the power-quality of electric supply. Harmonics deformations have conventionally been handled amid the application of passive-LC filters. Active Filter has emerged as a good substitute for passive filters to reduce the harmonics to great extent as it has numerous benefits over the former filters. The active filter’s most vital part is the applied control strategies. Several researches are being under process to advance the functioning of the filter. One of the important control requirements of filter is the regulation of DC link up capacitor voltage. Here the voltage supervision of capacitor is being done using PI controller. The paper show current harmonics compensation of PV grid connected system using PI controller based active filter. Simulation outcomes have been shown which displays the harmonics are within the IEEE boundaries.

This paper presents a simple yet efficient control method for active power filters that can be used to improve power quality. Applying this method can open the way towards limiting the hardware and computational expenditure, which are needed for control of the active filter, while maintaining its required performance. The method is based on the indirect approach of obtaining reference signals combined with the closed-loop current control technique. Monitoring of changes of energy stored in reactance elements of the active filter is the base for obtaining reference signals for compensation. The active filter can perform classical compensation and, additionally, can perform some extra functionality for managing of active power in the system. In particular, it can stabilize the supplying source power, enable energy exchange between loads connected on DC and AC sides of the active filter, and—in a case of generating loads—enable their energy storage and redistribution amongst consuming loads. The presented method can be useful for voltage-source as current-source inverter based active filters, and for DC systems as well as for AC single- or three-phase ones.

The analysis of the single-phase hybrid filter of network current harmonics, which can be applied in the decentralized power system, was carried out. Mathematical modeling of such a system that feeds a bridge rectifier with a capacitive filter and the 10 kW active load was performed. A comparison of current spectrograms and current diagrams of different configurations of a hybrid filter implemented in the active part on the basis of an active corrector of the parallel type, and in the passive part - a broadband LMC filter with an additional winding Ld was carried out. The maximum current deviations from the shape of the first harmonic of the current consumption for different structures of the passive filter were determined, which is decisive for the calculation of the power part of the active filter. The installed power of the active filter was calculated, the harmonic coefficients of the current consumption of the power supply network were obtained. Ref. 11, fig. 5, table.
