Experiments on chronic administration of melatonin with and without chronic inhalation of toluene dosed at both maximal permissible concentration (50 mg/ml) and limited chronical range (500 mg/m3) have been carried out on female rats to discover their effects on biogenic amines system in hypothalamic structures related to gonadoliberin synthesis and secretion - preoptic area (PA) and median eminence (ME). Contents of biogenic amines in ME and especially in PA have been shown to have circadian variations with maximum in the morning in control group of rats. The chronic effect of synchronizing agent melatonin (administered dissolved in drinking water in concentration of 10 pg/m l, at night during 2 months) on neotransmitters and their circadian variations in both hypothalamic structures proved surprisingly to be much alike the effect of toluene. Both chemicals cause the disturbances of normal circadian variations o f norepinephrine, dopamine and serotonine in PA and dopamine in ME. The simultaneous administration of toluene and melatonin showed likewise no synchronizing ability of the latter under the conditions described.

Life Force LLC, RPE products were studied on irrigated dark chestnut soils of the Saratov Transvolga region.  The objects of the studies were Chantenay carrot variety and products, containing humic acids, as well as macro (nitrogen), meso (calcium, magnesium and trace elements).  The purpose of the research is to determine the most effective combinations of humic acid salts and chelated micronutrient fertilizers that provide a substantial increase in the yield of carrots. It is established that spraying carrots with a solution of Reasil® micro Hydro Mix increased the harvest of standard root crops by 1.85 т/ha for an average of three years (by 7% to the control). When using K- Humate -Na with micronutrients the yield increased by 5.51 t/ha (by 20% to the control). The maximum productivity of carrot within our experiments was obtained with the double application of Reasil®  Carb-N-Humic along with K-Humate -Na with micronutrients (35.88 t / ha). Similar results (35.69 t / ha) were obtained when Reasil Ca-Mg-B Animo was used along with K- Humate -Na with micronutrients. The growth of carrots and the formation of the crop were significantly influenced by the weather conditions of vegetation season. The studied products had a positive effect on the output of standard root crops, the content of sugars, vitamin A and nutrients. The content of nitrate nitrogen in all variants of the experiments was almost the same and about 4 times lower than the maximal permissible concentration (MPC). The removal of macronutrients from the soil with the carrot yield increased under the influence of microelement fertilizers.

The article reports the results of the summer 2018 expedition to Cape Kamenny(of the Ob bay, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region) and the nearby non-functioning oil product supply facility (OPSF).The aim of the study was to monitor the current environmental situation and assess the level of oil pollution of environmental objects on these territories. The field and laboratory studies revealed the need to treat and remediate the oil-polluted soils, water bodies and wetlands. The field surveys of the territories showed the presence of visible oil polluted sites. The results of the laboratory tests revealed an excess of maximal permissible concentration (MPC) levels (1.3 – 6.2 MPC) for the water bodies located near the sources of oil pollution. The soil samples near the OPSF demonstrate a significant excess of oil products content (up to 1474 times). The soils sampled at Cape Kamenny are characterized by smaller content of oil products.Since the non-functioning OPSF is situated on a territory that has always been poluted by oil, it seems necessary to develop a land remediation plan to rehabilitate the site and to prevent a further pollution of the adjacent territories due to the migration of the pollutants. The oil pollution levels established for Cape Kamenny territory indicate a fairly high level of anthropogenic pressure in this area. Due to the low comparatively low soil stability in the area, it appears necessary to augment the measures for controlling the oil products leakage and spills at all the potentially hazardous objects.

The current regulation system for suspended matter input into water bodies has been considered. It has been shown that current norms of the maximal permissible concentration based on permissible exceeding the “background” content are intrinsically contradictive and ineffective. It is necessary to take into account a considerably wider range of determining factors.
