Subject. This article discusses the formation of receivables that depends on the influence of numerous and at the same time heterogeneous factors. Objectives. The article aims to develop methodological provisions for the content of receivables, its key elements, in order to establish an adequate management mechanism to maintain capacity to pay and maximize profits. Methods. For the study, we used the systems approach, analysis and synthesis, and generalization. Results. On the basis of generalization and systematization of published works on the subject matter, we have identified insufficient accounting of the impact of receivables at the macro level and show a new direction of the topic in terms of the functional assignment of receivables in the structure of working capital at the micro level. Conclusions. Receivables are a kind of credit exposure of an economic entity. This risk has certain criteria such as volume and duration combined with time, quantitative and qualitative characteristics.

This article introduces a new calibration method for machine vision measurement system--calibration method using concentric circles planar template. This method not only considering lens distortion and random errors introduced by the process of calibration, but also overcome limitation of strict demands for the standard parts’ position and complexity in stereovision computation, it also capable of conduct calibration to the whole scene depth space, effectively improve the efficiency of calibration with its simple and high precision mean. A relatively high precision can be achieved by applying this new method to diameter measurement of cable line, which is suitable to conduct on-field industrial dimension measurement calibration.

AbstractThe high density optical and/or thermal, electrical memories based on recording into chalcogenide thin films are currently used in industrial dimension but search for new materials continues due to request of higher recording density and shorter lasers wavelength available. The thin films of amorphous chalcogenides e.g. of Ag-As-S(Se) systems making or ternary use different techniques i.e. optically-induced silver dissolution in the binary As-S or As-S-Se chalcogenides prepared by thermal evaporation or by spin coating techniques were prepared and studied. Ternary Ag-As-S and quarternary Ag-As-S(Se) chalcogenide films were also deposited by direct-pulsed laser deposition. Films with euthectic or stoichiometric compositions were prepared. Optically-induced phase-changes in films, process kinetics and analysis of the structural changes and their potential application are described.

This paper presents a software who's goal is to ease automatic analysis of natural language by solving two analysis problems: — resolution of syntactic ambiguities; — identification of fixed forms. In order to fulfil this goal, it appears that using negative rules make this system really powerful and easy to use, as long as sentences are represented by a graph structure. There are three main points to this paper: — the graph structure of the sentence; — the use of negative rules; — the identification of fixed forms based upon a new categorization of those forms. It's important to stress the industrial dimension of this work: actually, two systems are already using in software, namely a translating system for concept and a grammatical corrector for newspapers.

Individuals and societies are as much influenced and motivated by perceptions of reality as by reality itself, indeed possibly more so. It is in that sense that the images which one society holds in relation to another are highly significant in terms of an understanding of the relationship between the two. Japanese officials tend to stress that problems which exist between Japan and Europe are due to ‘misunderstandings’—and indeed the fact that Endymion Wilkinson's book on Europe and Japan (‘Misunderstanding’) has proved such a best-seller in its Japanese version, GOKAI, indicates that it struck a sensitive chord among the Japanese public. In other words, the image, it is alleged, is out of focus with reality. Presumably an aspiration, and an entirely legitimate one, in the mounting of the Great Japan exhibition was to redress and improve Japan's image in the West, namely by stressing the cultural legacy with the intention of diverting attention from the more powerful industrial dimension.
