Abstract When considering how to improve public literacy and behavior related to specific themes, top priority is usually given to strategies to enhance knowledge and understanding. However, recent evidence has shown that attitude could be an important factor in the development of behavior. The aim of this study is to explore the relationships among ocean knowledge, attitude towards the ocean, and intention to take responsible behavior in the marine setting. After recruiting a total of 266 volunteers, participants’ ocean knowledge, their attitudes towards the ocean, and their intention to behave responsibly were evaluated using questionnaires. The results indicate that attitude may be more important than knowledge in terms of the effect on intention, and a person’s attitude towards the ocean may indeed be the full mediator between ocean knowledge and their intention to show responsible marine behavior. Based on these results, the development of marine policy and public education should consider the importance of attitude in achieving the primary aim, of ensuring that people engage in responsible ocean behavior. At the same time, it is noted that appropriate knowledge provides people with insights that may determine the correctness of their behavior.

AbstractWhile Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) are developmental in origin little is known about how they affect the early development of behavior and sensory coding, or how this is modulated by the sensory environment. The most common inherited form of autism is Fragile X syndrome, caused by a mutation in FMR1. Here we show that zebrafish fmr1-/- mutant larvae raised in a naturalistic visual environment display early deficits in hunting behavior, tectal map development, tectal network properties and decoding of spatial stimuli. However when given a choice they preferred an environment with reduced visual stimulation, and rearing them in this environment improved these metrics. Older fmr1-/- fish showed differences in social behavior, spending more time observing a conspecific, but responding more slowly to social cues. Together these results help reveal how fmr1-/- changes the early development of vertebrate brain function, and how manipulating the environment could potentially help reduce these changes.

The characteristics and behaviour of information system users have a big influence on the successful implementation of information systems. There have been many studies that reveal the effects of user behaviour related to technology and information systems. The majority of research conducted deals with the impact of culture on user behaviour after the implementation of information systems. Very few journals discuss how the characteristics and factors of user behaviour are used as inputs that affect the information system development process. This research was conducted to conduct a literature review regarding the dominant factors in user behaviour and to see their impact on the development of information systems. The results of the study are in the form of synthesis to see the opportunity to include these user behaviour factors into components of the information system requirements.

Thus, families need to pay attention to the process of child development so that it runs optimally. This research is a literature study. The purpose of this study is to explain; 1) the theory of social emotional development, 2) the factors that influence children's social emotional development, 3) the role of the family in the social emotional development of children, and 4) learning activities to optimize the social emotional development of children. The explanation of the four points discussed above will greatly assist parents and teachers in understanding and improving children's social emotional abilities.
