Aim: The purpose of this article, is to know the impact on dental health of an educational process and clinical tests on a bimonthly basis and by applying the Cariograma software, monitors and controls the presence or absence of risk factors of caries in university students aged 16 to 35 years.
Materials and Methods: 121 students from the Universidad Santiago de Cali,were examined and controlled periodically by 60 students of dentistry, during an academic semester, using the Cariograma of Bratthal as a tool for assessment.
Results: We compared the results of data obtained at the beginning of the research and those who were at the end of the school semester
Conclusions: We found significant differences in use carbohydrates from the diet, decreased plaque and improvement of the salivary buffer jit vuales close to neutrality level.
