Productive Development Partnership (PDP) established by the Ministry of Health comprehends cooperation, by agreements, between public and private institutions for development, transfer, and absorption of technology regarding strategic products in accordance with the demands of the Unified Health System. The PDP program represents one of the most important initiatives for building an industrial policy and systemic innovation in the health area. It also could promote the strengthening of the national production, public-private integration, favoring the incorporation of new technologies, which were dominated only by big multinational corporations in the private pharmaceutical sector. Additionally, the establishment of a PDP with a pharmaceutical company from a South American country, which is also part of Mercosur, expands the range of interaction beyond those already existing with American, European, and Asian companies, strengthening technical development-scientific of the region that will be able to catalyze the interaction with other companies also from the region.

Digital business model innovation is discussed by bringing together systemic innovation and digital innovation. Applying the Rich Picture technique, the complexity transpiring in the digital innovation of the business models is illustrated. Further, a real world example is presented and discussed in relation to systemic innovation and digital innovation. Abstract The construction industry is generally known to be resistive to change and reluctant to embrace new technologies. Innovation, which might be described as the successful exploitation of new ideas, is usually seen as the key to unlocking the industry’s potential. Although there is no doubt that some progress has been made, construction innovation still occurs in a random manner, not as a systemic and managed process. Regardless of the growing number of studies on construction innovation management, there is still a lack of research that identify, compile, classify, and summarize the innovation enablers in construction. Thus, based on a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), this paper aims to provide a holistic understanding of the key elements that enable systemic innovation in construction from a firm-level perspective. The review incorporated data from 38 articles to establish a set of 15 enablers of innovation in construction firms, such as innovation culture, external collaboration (open innovation), knowledge management, and upper management support. The enablers were classified into five different aspects of innovation management: strategic, organizational, human, processual, and financial. The review also sought to identifypractices, routines, methods, or tools that can be adopted to increase innovation activity in construction firms.

AbstractRecognising the lack of local and economically accessible facilities, technologies, and public engagement in local recycling, the chapter tackles the challenge of introducing Circular Economy to cope with plastic waste in Copenhagen. The need for circular systemic innovation and holistic production models for recycling plastics led to consider how local micro entrepreneurs, SMEs, commercial resellers and citizens can collaborate for a common, sustainable goal. The chapter presents ‘Plastic In, Plastic Out’ (PIPO), a Circular system for local sourcing, recycling and production of sustainable plastic building materials and products.

The debate on food security has highlighted the connection between periurban farming systems (PFS) and local food systems (LFS) for academic research. Several researchers have called for in-depth analysis of the participation and impact of farmers in LFS, and the systemic innovation perspective can provide relevant analysis of the sustainability of this agro-food system. The objective of the current study is to investigate the integration of PFS into LFS from the systemic innovation perspective, by analysing systemic failures and merits that hinder or promote the contribution of PFS to LFS for farmers and commercial actors. The case study is the LFS of the urban Pisa region in central Italy. Results show that farmers there are adapting to urban pressure, which improves the sustainability of their farming practices. At the same time, commercial actors have a commercial opportunity to include local farmers in their economic strategy. Nevertheless, individual initiatives must be coordinated to support the sustainability of both LFS and PFS. This study thus developed an innovative method to identify systemic failures and merits for farmers and commercial actors to address sustainability strategies at the territorial level.

Tax is the main source of financing for state expenditures in order to improve people's welfare. Given the important role of taxes in the country's economy, in fact there are still many problems and obstacles that must be faced in collecting local taxes in Indonesia. One of the efforts of the Surakarta City government to overcome this problem is through innovative technology-based local tax services in the form of the Electronic Solo Destination Tax Payment (EPPSON) feature. This study aims to determine the typology of local tax service innovation through EPPSON by using the typology dimension of innovation according to Perry, which consists of product innovation, service innovation, process innovation, conceptual innovation, policy innovation and systemic innovation. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that in its implementation, EPPSON innovation had met the criteria of product innovation, service innovation, process innovation, and systemic innovation. In addition, the EPPSON innovation has helped overcome local tax problems before the creation of this innovation. Keyword: typology of innovation, public service, EPPSON, local taxes.

Economics and pedagogy are determined on the basis of consideration of the conceptual apparatus from the standpoint of philosophy, as well as the essential and specific characteristics of innovation. The study of the evolution of innovation and the diversity of their types and types make it possible to present the classification system of innovation influence, the strength and scale of impact on the entire education system. There were outlined the allocated spot (local), linear (horizontal plane); structure (spherical, spatial, architectural); the fundamental (base); radical (actually the system); multidimensional (versatile, global) and nadcisnienie some innovation. By deduction the thesis that the introduction of inclusive education in mainstream educational space requires a system of development tailored to the specific socio-cultural conditions and educational policy is substantiated. In the text highlights of the most important directions of innovative activity of educational institutions (the creation of an inclusive culture, develop inclusive policies and the implementation of inclusive practices) is given.
