Racismo obstétrico vivenciado por mulheres negras: uma revisão integrativa da literatura

O presente estudo tem por objetivo levantar os dados contidos na literatura referentes ao racismo obstétrico associado à violência obstétrica cometido contra mulheres negras, seus impactos na saúde materna, bem como expor as formas de combate a esse tipo de violência. Trata-se de um estudo fundamentado no método de Revisão Integrativa da Literatura (RIL), realizado no mês de outubro de 2021 nas bases de dados Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Bases de dados de Enfermagem (BDENF) e na biblioteca Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) e Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE/PUBMED. Dentre as publicações selecionadas pelos autores para compor a RIL deste estudo, 2 foram publicados no ano de 2016, 2 artigos em 2020 e 3 artigos em 2021. Identificaram-se um total de 7 artigos. As discussões apresentadas pelos autores foram descritas em duas categorias temáticas. Este estudo discorre a respeito do racismo atrelado à violência obstétrica e a repercussão na saúde materna e pontua meios de combate ao racismo obstétrico a fim de garantir os direitos sexuais e reprodutivos de mulheres negras. O presente estudo mostrou-se relevante ao abordar a temática de tamanha relevância social, incorporando os dados pertinentes contidos nos estudos selecionados para a discussão, mostrando a realidade das mulheres negras vítimas de violência obstétrica e as implicações dessas em suas vidas.

Empirical Literature on Economic Growth, 1991–2020: Uncovering Extant Gaps and Avenues for Future Research

The factors required to achieve sustainable economic growth in a country are debated for decades, and empirical research in this regard continues to grow. Given the relevance of the topic and the absence of a comprehensive, systematic literature review, we used bibliometric techniques to examine and document several aspects in the empirical literature related to growth, from 1991 to 2020. Five main results are worth highlighting: (a) the share of empirical articles on economic growth show a clear upward trend; (b) among all the groups of countries considered, the emerging economies (EEs) have received the most scientific attention; (c) the economic growth processes of the Latin American and Caribbean EEs have observed negligible scientific attention; (d) the very long-run studies comprise a residual share among the empirical literature on growth; (e) the extant empirical studies on economic growth have addressed mainly the impact of “macroeconomic conditions.” Our findings suggest there is a need to redirect the empirical growth agenda, so as to encourage more scientific attention devoted to the analysis of key determinants of economic growth in the very long run. There should also be increased scrutiny of the processes of economic growth in Latin American and Caribbean EEs

Repercussions of Sustainable Agricultural Productivity, Foreign Direct Investment, Renewable Energy, and Environmental Decay: Recent Evidence from Latin America and the Caribbean

This research aimed to assess and implement the long- and short-run relationship of agriculture and environmental sustainability with control variables. Purposely, this research consolidated theoretical and conceptual principles to create a systematic structure in agriculture for the development of both sectors, i.e., agricultural and the environment. On this ground statement, this research was motivated to contemplate the relationship between carbon dioxide emission, agricultural production, gross domestic product, renewable energy consumption, and foreign direct investment using annual data series of Latin American and Caribbean countries from 1971 to 2018. Autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) was used as an econometric methodology to examine the relationship among the variables. Agriculture is the most vulnerable sector in Latin American and Caribbean countries, and the economy is heavily dependent on it. The main results of this research indicated that agriculture and CO2 emissions were positively related to each other for the long and short run, which means that agricultural activities increased the CO2 emission levels. At the same time, the control variables showed mixed associations with environmental degradation as gross domestic product (GDP) was positively significant and renewable energy consumption was negatively significant. The error correction (ECt−1) term was negatively significant, confirming the long-run relationship and the speed of adjustment from short- to long-run equilibrium. Agricultural production and GDP led to increments in CO2 emissions, while renewable energy consumption negatively contributed to toxic emissions. The speed of adjustment in Latin American and Caribbean countries was nippy. It required 2.933 periods for the transformation from the short periodic phase to the long term. A comprehensive approach is the research debate rigorously and holistically based on divergent sectors of an economy and their relationship with environmental sustainability. The econometric method, symbolic system, and conceptual existence were designed originally.

THE AUTONOMY OF THE ELDERLY FACING NURSING CARE:

The nursing team should promote adequate assistance to the elderly, prioritizing respect for their autonomy. The objective of this study is to evaluate in the existing literature the actions developed by the nursing performed to demonstrate the autonomy of the elderly. This is a descriptive, bibliographical study of the type integrative review. As a sample of articles in Portuguese, indexed in the portals SciELO, Virtual Health Library (VHL), Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) and Google Academic, published between the years of 2012 and 2017. data, the articles will be categorized and inserted into tables or tables. It is hoped to help synthesize the evidence available in the literature on nursing care for the elderly regarding respect for their autonomy, and may help academics, professionals and researchers regarding the knowledge about the proposed theme, aiming for a quality nursing care, respecting autonomy of the elderly.

PARAMENTAÇÃO E DESPARAMENTAÇÃO DOS PROFISSIONAIS DE SAÚDE EM TEMPOS DE PANDEMIA

Dentro do hospital, a higiene é fundamental, sendo assim equipamentos de segurança são essenciais para a proteção do profissional, porém se utilizados de forma incorreta, podem acarretar brechas para contaminação. Objetivo: Descrever a importância da paramentação e da desparamentação como uma ferramenta fundamental para a proteção do profissional de saúde Método: revisão da literatura, as buscas serão realizadas nas bases de dados Latin American And Caribbean Literature Databases In Health Sciences (LILACS), Medical Literature, Analysis and Retrievel System Online (MEDLINE), dispostos na Biblioteca Virtual de saúde, utilizou-se os descritores indexados COVID- 19; Equipamento de Proteção Individual; Contenção de riscos Biológicos. Resultados: Nos artigos pesquisados as ações de educação em saúde, proporciona uma visão da importância das sequencias de paramentação e desparamentação dos equipamentos de proteção individual, já que é uma barreira de proteção para a saúde do profissional contra riscos biológicos, também o relatam que o uso de EPI é indispensável aos trabalhadores de saúde durante a pandemia de Covid-19, sendo portanto imprescindível coordenar seu fornecimento, para evitar a desperdício e consequentemente a falta. Conclusão: Ao profissional que trabalha diariamente prestando assistência a pacientes acometidos pela Covid-19, necessitam de proteção individual, tão quanto importante a paramentação está a desparamentação. Os estudos mostram que a maioria dos contágios ocorrem no momento de desparamentação, quando o profissional está cansado e muitas vezes esgotado, sendo primordial que ocorram ações da educação permanente a fim de ensinar e sensibilizar esses profissionais.

Assistência de enfermagem primária a mulheres vítimas de violência perpetrada por parceiro íntimo

Introdução: A violência contra a mulher se caracteriza como um problema de saúde pública e de violação dos direitos humanos das mulheres podendo afetar negativamente a saúde física, mental, sexual e reprodutiva das mulheres e sendo praticada especialmente pelo parceiro íntimo. A assistência de enfermagem norteia o cuidar, facilitando o processo de atendimento mediado por intervenções direcionadas a saúde global da paciente. Objetivo: Identificar na literatura científica nacional e internacional evidencias sobre a assistência de enfermagem primária a mulheres vítimas de violência perpetrada por parceiro íntimo. Método: Revisão integrativa realizada nas bases de dados Latin American and Caribbean Health Science Literature via Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde e Web of Science, via Portal de Periódicos CAPES. Foram selecionados estudos originais, sem delimitações de linguagem ou temporalidade, que atendessem à questão de pesquisa. Os estudos foram submetidos à leitura de dois revisores independentes e após extração de dados, organizados em tabela sinóptica. Resultados: A maioria dos artigos foi buscado na base de dados Biblioteca virtual de saúde, a amostra de 13 artigos selecionados levantou questionamentos sobre a enfermagem aplicada a estratégias alternativas que contemplassem a saúde psíquica de mulheres que sofreram violência. Assim foram desenvolvidas intervenções de enfermagem que buscassem a identificação desse fenômeno e o correto manejo com fins de minimizar impactos físicos e psíquicos para as mulheres acometidas. Conclusão: Os estudos revelaram estratégias de intervenções de enfermagem às mulheres vítimas de violência especialmente física e psíquica e apontaram para a necessidade da capacitação das equipes de estratégia de saúde da família, enfatizando o cuidado integral e humanizado entre essas vítimas.
