New Product Development (NPD) in most manufacturing sectors is stressed by an increasing global competition and pressure to improve product quality and innovation, reduce product cost and time-to-market (TTM), and rapidly respond to changing customer needs and shortened product lifecycles. These requirements are increasingly fulfilled by applying the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) approach, a widely accepted concept that generally defines the adoption of a large number of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) solutions for managing product data along the product lifecycle. This contribution shows the results of research concerning the application of PLM within the luxury fashion supply chain, conducted in 2009 in Italy, with the analysis of 20 companies of the leather market. The research shows some of the differences that exist between the luxury industry and other more PLM-oriented sectors (e.g. automotive) in terms of adopted ICT tools, criticalities, problems, and benefits expected and realized.

The Paper Works on the Intelligent Mobile Robot for Economic CNC Machine or Reformed CNC Machine According to the Chinese Enterprise’s Situation, which Can Automatically Finish next Three NC Procedures, Charging, Discharging and Tools Changer, so as to Economize on Manpower and Reduce Product Cost. the Actuator of Robot Is Double Four Bar Linkages, which Realized No Blind Zone in Workspace. in Order to Achieving Remote Control, CNC Machine Group Network Was Built by Newest Technology such as Zigbee Wireless Communication Technology, GPRS, and 3G Module. Except for these, Visual Navigation System Was Equipped to Accomplish the Accurate Orientation in the Procedure of Charging, Discharging and Tools Changer. the Robot Can Intelligently Estimate the Work Condition by Synthetically Use of Pattern Recognition Technology, Multi-sensor Information Technology, and Embedded Technology, which Impressively Improve Efficiency and Automation Level.

Recycling and usage of secondary raw materials in production is one of the most topical issues. Usage of secondary raw materials is one of the most topical issues in both economic and ecological (environmental) sense. Such a layered film on the market has lower price because secondary raw material prices is significant lower compared with the original material, the PET granules. Currently producing a layered film the middle layer composes up to 50 % of recycled material. In today's market in order to maintain a high level of competitiveness usage of 50 % of recycled materials is inadequate, therefore to use more recycled material amount and in such way to reduce product cost further researches are necessary.

In this paper, we discussed the package structure design of in-door air conditioners aiming the current status and problems. Box types such as 0201, 0203, and improved 0440 are used, and comparison experiments are carried out on compressive strength of empty boxes to optimize the structure design. By improving product package to increase efficiency, can effectively reduce product cost, and assure product quality.
