The aim of this report is to describe a clinical case of squamous cell carcinoma in an 18-year-old horse. This tumor is one of the most common superficial oncological problems in these animals. A lesion in the lateral corner of the eye was already observed about 10 years earlier, but due to the lack of significant growth or alarming symptoms, no diagnostics or treatment was implemented. A year before surgery, an episode of acute inflammation in the eye and a slight enlargement of the nodule occurred. Initially, an autoimmune origin of the lesion was assumed, but anti-inflammatory and bactericidal treatment did not lead to a significant improvement. As a result of sampling for histopathological examination, the tumor doubled its volume, so, given the inefficacy of the subsequent anti-inflammatory and antibiotic therapy, the horse was sent to the clinic. A convex, painful lesion partially covering the cornea was found on arrival. In view of the rapid growth of the tumor and its infiltration of surrounding tissues, a decision was made to carry out transpalpebral enucleation. The procedure was performed under general anesthesia and with an additional retrobulbar block. Because of significant tissue tensions and the risk of hematoma, an intermittent horizontal mattress suture was used. The area was secured with a compression dressing. The horse returned to sport, and no recurrence of the tumor was observed up to 7 months after surgery. Histopathological examination confirmed squamous cell metaplasia forming keratin pearls, characteristic of squamous cell carcinoma.

Three new species of Cumacea belonging to the genus Bodotria were collected from the Yellow Sea in Korea. Among them, Bodotria (Bodotria) hwanghaensis sp. nov. and Bodotria (Bodotria) pseudomaculosa sp. nov. share the dorso-lateral carina on the carapace and uniarticulated uropod endopod with other Korean Bodotria species. In contrast, the last one, Bodotria (Atlantobodotria) incarinata sp. nov. lacks the dorso-lateral carina on the carapace and has a biarticulated uropod endopod. The new species B. (A.) incarinata sp. nov. can be distinguished from all other Bodotria species by the combination of carapace without dorso-lateral carina or ridge, dorso-median carina marked over whole length of carapace, antero-lateral corner of carapace rounded, antennal notch shallow, maxilliped 3 merus and carpus dilated, pereopod 1 carpus not dilated, and pereopod 2 basis with plumose seta. The new species B. (B.) hwanghaensis sp. nov. can be distinguished from all other Bodotria species by the combination of carapace almost ovoid in dorsal view, carapace lower edge of mid-lateral depression forming a faint ridge, pereopod 1 carpus not dilated, and pereopod 2 basis without plumose seta. The new species B. (B.) pseudomaculosa sp. nov. can be distinguished from all other Bodotria species by the combination of carapace surface covered with coarse squamosa-reticulate patterning formed by large, shallow pits, carapace lower edge of mid-lateral depression forming an angular ridge, pereopod 1 carpus little dilated, and pereopod 2 basis with plumose seta. We described with full illustrations, including mouthparts for the three new species. Also, a key to the Korean Bodotria species is provided.

Objectives: Show our experience about the multiligament injury of the knee. In the surgical technique it is most popular and recommended stabilized first all posterior and lateral (Ligament cruciate Posterior (LCP) and postero-lateral corner) if is a case. We show our experience stabilized first all intra-articular ACL and LCP. Methods: Prospective study and Case Series. The study includes, 45 cases in 15 years of experience. The patients have two or more ligaments with rupture, and associated lesions, like meniscus, cartilages, fractures, etc. 45 cases with a ACL rupture, 40 PCL, 7 posteromedial corner, 25 postero-lateral corner, 30 meniscus medial, 28 meniscus lateral, 1 vascular lesion, and 3 fibular nerve. In the surgical technique always use autograft. Prefer hamstrings, quadricipital tendon, contralateral hamstrings, BTB and sometimes peroneus brevis. We hope 1 or 2 weeks for the surgery. I never use pump, and use tourniquet for two hours. We start for the meniscus lesions and cartilage lesion and first reconstruction ligaments intra-articular. Finalized we open the tourniquet and stabilized the postero-lateral o posteromedial corner if is necessary. In the first cases we did a surgery in two times, but now we stabilized in one surgical time. Results: 3 to 6 days in the hospital 2 weeks immobilized and star rehabilitation with brace for more two weeks. Use crutches for 4-6 weeks. Worked in rehabilitation for a one year and star competition in one year. Complications: 1 case of amputation for vascular lesion, 9 arthrofibrosis, 2 medial instability, 1 lateral instability and1 LCP instability. One case needs a revision two years after the first surgery, for a new trauma in the work. All other cases had a new surgery for revision the residual instability. Conclusion: The multiligament injury of the knee it is not frequently, but every year I receive more cases, and more difficult. In the surgical technique have two options. The more recommended stabilized first all posterior (LCP and postero-lateral corner). Our experience shows no difference in these two options.

A new species of aphanodactylid genusAnkeriusNg, Rahayu & Shih, 2016, is described from Iriomote Island, Ryukyu Islands, Japan.Ankerius grusocuraren. sp. is distinct from the only congener,A. aenigmaticus, by the shape of the lateral corner of the front (= supraorbital tooth), proportionally wider carapace, and the fewer number of the teeth along the upperflexor margin of the ambulatory meri. The present study brings the number of aphanodactylid taxa to 13 species.
