The work treats the filter H∞ finite frequency (FF) in Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) two dimensional (2-D) systems described by Fornasini-Marchesini local state-space (FM LSS)models. The goal of this work is to find an FF H∞ T-S fuzzy filter model design in such a way that the error system is stable and has a reduced FF H∞ performance over FF area swith noise is established as aprerequisite. Via the use of the generalized Kalman Yakubovich Popov (gKYP) lemma, Lyapunov functions approach, Finsler’s lemma, and parameterize slack matrices, new design conditions guaranteeing the FF H∞ T-S fuzzy filter method of FM LSS models are developed by solving linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). At last, the simulation results are provided to show the effectiveness and the validity of the proposed FF T-S fuzzy of FM LSS models strategy by a practical application has been made.

A new version of delay-dependent bounded real lemma for singular systems with state delay is established by parameterized Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach. In order to avoid generating nonconvex problem formulations in control design, a strategy that introduces slack matrices and decouples the system matrices from the Lyapunov-Krasovskii parameter matrices is used. Examples are provided to demonstrate that the results in this paper are less conservative than the existing corresponding ones in the literature.

The paper presents conditions suitable in design giving quadratic performances to stabilizing controllers for given class of continuous-time nonlinear systems, represented by Takagi-Sugeno models. Based on extended Lyapunov function and slack matrices, the design conditions are outlined in the terms of linear matrix inequalities to possess a stable structure closest to LQ performance, if premise variables are measurable. Simulation results illustrate the design procedure and demonstrate the performances of the proposed control design method.

We are interested in the exponential stability of the descriptor system, which is composed of the slow and fast subsystems with time-varying delay. In computing a kind of Lyapunov functional, we employ a necessary number of slack matrices to render the balance and to yield the convexity condition for reducing the conservatism and dealing with the case of time-varying delay. Therefore, we can get the decay rate of the slow variables. Moreover, we characterize the effect of the fast subsystem on the derived decay rate and then prove the fast variables to decay exponentially through a perturbation approach. Finally, we provide an example to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.

This paper considers the delay-dependent exponential stability for discrete-time BAM neural networks with time-varying delays. By constructing the new Lyapunov functional, the improved delay-dependent exponential stability criterion is derived in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Moreover, in order to reduce the conservativeness, some slack matrices are introduced in this paper. Two numerical examples are presented to show the effectiveness and less conservativeness of the proposed method.
