In this paper, by using the critical point theory, some new results of the existence of at least two nontrivial periodic solutions with prescribed minimal period to a class of 2 n th-order nonlinear discrete system are obtained. The main approach used in our paper is variational technique and the linking theorem. The problem is to solve the existence of periodic solutions with prescribed minimal period of 2 n th-order discrete systems.

In this paper a special class of infinite nonlinear system of algebraic equations with Teoplitz matrix is studied. The mentioned system arises in the mathematical theory of the spatial temporal spread of the epidemic. The existence and the uniqueness of the solution in the space of bounded sequences are proved. It is studied also the asymptotic behavior of the constructed solution at infinity. At the end of the work specific examples are given.

This paper aims to propose an algebraic method for estimating the stability region for nonlinear discrete systems. The main contribution is the improvement of an existing technique to enlarge the initial stability region in which the asymptotic stability is guaranteed. To deal with the maximization issue, a state feedback controller is proposed to extend the largest estimation of attraction domain of nonlinear polynomial discrete systems. The proposed approach is illustrated and validated on an isothermal stirred tank reactor.

We propose a nonlinear discrete system of two species with the effect of toxic substances. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov-type function, we obtain the sufficient conditions which guarantee that one of the components will be driven to extinction while the other will be globally attractive with any positive solution of a discrete equation. Two examples together with their numerical simulations illustrate the feasibility of our main results. The results not only improve but also complement some known results.

Through studying tracking problems of the wheeled mobile robot, this paper proposed a discrete iterative learning control approach based on PID with strong adaptability, fast convergence, and small error. This algorithm used discrete PID to filter rejection and restrained the influence of interference and noise on trajectory tracking, which made it more suitable for engineering application. The PID-type iterative learning convergence condition and certification procedure are presented. The results of simulation reveal that the PID-type ILC holds the features of simplicity, strong robustness, and high repeating precision and can well meet the control requirement of nonlinear discrete system.
