Analysis of the geological conditions of high-altitude and low-temperature stope slopes and the study of grade division are the basis for the evaluation of slope stability. Based on the engineering background of the eastern slope of the Preparatory iron mine in Hejing County, Xinjiang, we comprehensively analyse and summarize the factors that affect the geological conditions of high-altitude and cold slopes and finally determine nine geological conditions that affect the index parameters. Based on a back-propagation (BP) neural network algorithm, we establish an applicable network model to analyse the geological conditions of slopes in cold areas. The model is applied to the eastern slope to analyse and classify the geological conditions of the high-altitude and low-temperature slopes. The research results show that the skarn rock layer in the eastern slope is in a stable state and not prone to landslides, and its corresponding geological condition is Grade I; meanwhile, the monzonite porphyry rock layer is in a relatively stable state, with a potential for landslides and a corresponding geological condition Grade II. The marble rock layer is in a generally stable state, there is the possibility of landslide accidents, and the corresponding geological condition level is Grade III. The limestone rock layer is in an unstable state and prone to landslide accidents, it has a corresponding geology condition Grade IV. Therefore, the eastern slope can be divided into different geological condition regions: Zone I, Zone II, Zone III, and Zone IV, and the corresponding geological condition levels for these are Grade I, Grade II, Grade III, and Grade IV. These results may provide a basis for the stability evaluation of high altitudes and cold slopes.

Condition-based maintenance decision-making of transformers is essential to electric enterprises for avoiding financial losses. However, precise transformer condition assessment was tough to accomplish because of the negligence of the influence of bushing and accessories, the difficulty of fuzzy grade division, and the lack of reasonable fuzzy evidence fusion method. To solve these problems, a transformer assessing model was proposed in the paper. At first, an index assessing system, considering the main body, the bushing and the accessories components, was established on the basis of components division of transformers. Then, a Cauchy membership function was employed for fuzzy grades division. Finally, a fuzzy evidence fusion method was represented to handle the fuzzy evidences fusion processes. Case studies and the comparison analysis with other methods were performed to prove the effectiveness of this model. The research results confirm that the proposed model could be recommendation for condition based maintenance of power transformers for electric enterprises.

Bullying is a problem that has been studied in schools worldwide, but there is little research on bullying within Christian schools, a dearth which may stem from the assumption that Christian schools teach character traits that are inimical to bullying. Yet understanding the extent and nature of bullying in Christian schools may lead to a better understanding of ways to address the problem in all schools. Guided by social identity theory, which allowed for a focus on moral and character development, this study examined the extent and nature of bullying among 347 students in Grades 3 through 10 in a Christian school. Research questions addressed differences in bullying behaviors related to gender, grade, division, and the number of years a student has attended a Christian school. Data were analyzed from responses to the Olweus Bullying Questionnaire. One-way ANOVAanalysis of variance, chi-square, and t <em>t </em>tests indicated statistically significant differences in bullying behaviors based on gender, division, and years attending the school. Results indicated that girls were bullied more frequently than boys and by means of exclusion, rumors, sexual comments, and cyber bullying. Boys were more likely to bully than girls, and boys bullied primarily in physical ways and used racial comments more often than did girls. Bullying decreased from elementary to high school grades. The results of this study may be used to promote positive social change by alerting Christian school educators to the problem of bullying in their schools, and by assisting all educators in developing gender-specific programs to minimize the problem of bullying in general.

After processed the signals obtained from monitoring system, one theory of condition evaluation was proposed on basis of a new evaluation parameter—index variation. One new condition grade division method was proposed from approximate statistic distribution of index variation, and as per the concept of confidence degree and confidence interval. Because the monitoring data and the standard of condition grade division were all interval numbers, interval extension evaluation theory was adopted to establish the model of condition evaluation. Set-Valued Statistics and gravity center based decision theory were introduced to divide weight into subjective weight and objective weight to make calculation. This evaluation method was found to be reasonable and had good project practicability.

According to the highway subgrade engineering construction period serious delaying by rainy climate for a long time in the tropical rainy regions. The key process of the subgrade construction affected by climate is roadbed filling turning. Binding the law of rainy, Considered the continuous available period for filling turning as a random variable to analyze the correlation with its frequency, established the regression formula, the values of correlation coefficient is more than 0.95, shows that the continuous available period for filling turning presents good exponential relationship, A new statistical method of continuous available period for filling turning called selecting time construction concept was put forward. According the feasible probability of the continuous available period for filling turning, put forward a new grade division method for roadbed filling. Optimized the construction organization of the subgrade engineering by the statistical function of continuous available period for roadbed filling turning, and proved its reliability and achievability. Demonstration and reference were provided for the highway construction and local standardization in southern rainy regions.
