To scientifically and quantitatively evaluate the degree of urban storm resilience and improve the level of urban stormwater resilience, based on the resilience theory, starting from the three attributes of resilience (resistance, recovery and adaptability), this paper establishes the framework of urban resilience evaluation indicator system under the background of stormwater disaster. Firstly, the weight of the indicator system is analyzed by the Delphi method and cloud model, and then the urban stormwater recilience evaluation model is constructed by using the cloud model and approximate ideal solution ranking method. Through the fuzzy description, the corresponding quantitative value is given to the qualitative indicator, so that the stormwater resilience of the city can be measured by accurate values. Finally, the feasibility of the model is verified by case analysis. The results show that the urban stormwater resilience evaluation theory and method based on cloud model and approximate ideal solution ranking method have important guiding significance to improve the level of urban stormwater resilience.

This article shares lessons learned in applying system evaluation theory (SET) to evaluate a Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTR) funded by the National Institutes of Health. After describing how CTR support cores are intended to work interdependently as a system, the case is made for SET as the best fit for evaluating this evaluand. The article then details how the evaluation was also challenged to facilitate a CTR culture shift, helping support cores to move from working autonomously to working together and understanding how the cores’ individual operating processes impact each other. This was achieved by incorporating the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) building block approach to implement SET. Each of the seven HSEEP building blocks is examined for alignment with each of SET’s three steps and the ability to systematically support the goal of moving CTR cores toward working interdependently. The implications of using HSEEP to support SET implementation for future evaluations are discussed.

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of empowering leadership (EL) on work passion by developing a moderated mediation model. The model focuses on the mediating effect of intrinsic motivation (IM) in the relationship between EL and work passion, as well as the moderating effect of role clarity (RC) in influencing the mediation. METHODS: Data were obtained from a sample of 515 workers, who work in 17 five-star hotels in Sharm El-Sheikh. RESULTS: Findings reveal that IM fully mediates the positive relationship between EL and work passion. It also concluded that RC moderated the mediated relationship between EL and work passion via IM, with individuals with higher RC benefiting more from the mediation. CONCLUSION: The findings have far-reaching implications for both employees and leaders. Furthermore, they add to our understanding of self-determination theory and cognitive evaluation theory in terms of consolidating employees’ work passion.

The complexities of food, agriculture, natural resources, and human sciences (FANH) programs and   projects require faculty to write and secure funding in addition to mastering skills such as evaluation competencies that integrate abilities in quantitative and qualitative research methods and evaluation theory and practice. The EVAL Framework was developed to advance skill development among FANH graduates to include these competencies and increase the pipeline of students who have the essential skills needed to advance FANH initiatives and priorities. The EVAL Framework includes four primary constructs: (a) Evaluation, (b) Value, (c) Active and Experiential Learning, and (d) Leadership. The purpose of EVAL is to build relationships with untapped FANH fields to develop a pipeline for graduates to become evaluation leaders for advancing food and agricultural sciences. This experiential learning and development model focuses on foundational and enrichment experiences, through formal coursework, project-based learning, and contextually rich environments. Mentoring, individualized development plans, scholarly learning communities, collaboration, transferable skills, and career planning and guidance activities are integrated into the EVAL framework to enhance skill development among EVAL scholars.

This research discusses the evaluation of the Pekanbaru City Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2014. Every people's market must meet the requirements starting from the supporting facilities and facilities that must exist in the people's market according to those already in the policy, while at Sail Market there are supporting facilities and facilities which are not available or many are not functioning due to lack of maintenance from the manager. The theory used is Riant Nugroho's evaluation theory which suggests an evaluation of policy performance. The place of this research is the Department of Trade and Industry of Pekanbaru City and Sail Market . The purpose of this study is to evaluate the Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2014 on the physical planning of  Sail market. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, this method is used to describe how the Pekanbaru City government manages and supervises the people's market, especially the Sail Market. The results of this study conclude that the Pekanbaru City government in dealing with people's markets managed by third parties to create a decent, safe and healthy people's market according to the provisions of Regional Regulation No. 9 of 2014 has not been effective. The Department of Trade and Industry has not been able to carry out its duties and functions as the agency responsible for managing the people's market. This is because the current condition of Sail market is that there are many supporting facilities and facilities that do not exist.

AbstractUnderstanding tourists’ perceptions of climate is essential to improving tourist satisfaction and destination marketing. This paper constructs a sentiment analysis framework for tourists’ perceptions of climate using not only continuous climate data but also short-term weather data. Based on Sina Weibo, we found that Chinese tourists’ perceptions of climate change were at an initial stage of development. The accuracies of word segmentation between sentiment and nonsentiment words using ROST CM, BosonNLP, and GooSeeker were all high, and the three gradually decreased. The positively expressed sentences accounted for 79.80% of the entire text using ROST EA, and the sentiment score was 0.784 at the intermediate level using artificial neural networks. The results indicate that the perceived emotional map is generally consistent with the actual climate and that cognitive evaluation theory is suitable to study text on climate perception.

This study Post-Occupational Evaluation (POE), aims to determine whether the natural lighting and ventilation openings in theoretical rooms at SMK XYZ have met the standards or not. The review of technical aspects focused on lighting and ventilation issues. This research is descriptive, evaluative, with the POE method at the investigative level, making 13 theoretical rooms as research objects and 156 students or 12 students per class as research subjects. The research instrument is a measuring instrument plus a questionnaire as data to strengthen the study results. Data collection techniques with observation and recording of primary data and secondary studies. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative. The theoretical space at SMK XYZ for the KBM process does not meet standards, such as the natural lighting of the theoretical room in 11 of the 12 existing rooms, the inlet, and the outlet area, elevation of ventilation holes at the inlet throughout the theory room.

Premised on the idea that evaluators should be familiar with a range of approaches to program modifications, I review several existing approaches and then describe another, less well-recognized option. In this newer option, evaluators work with others to identify potentially needed adaptations for select program aspects in advance. In describing this approach, I note the general steps involved and present alternative techniques for identifying, a priori, adaptations that may come to be needed. In the final section, I discuss implications of the a priori adaptation planning approach for the fidelity–adaptation trade-off, past criticism of logic models as overly fixed and linear, potential research and evaluation questions, the development of more detailed views of programs in evaluation theory and training, and possible resistance to adaptation planning. Discussion also considers the potential future of program adaptations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
