In this paper we analyse the M/G/1 feedback queue under steady states conditionswhen catastrophe occur. The stationary probability of  ‘n’ and zero customers sins the system are derived. The asymptotic behaviour of the model and the averages queues lengthare also obtained. The numerical example  are provided  to   test the feasibility of the model.

We consider a single server Markovian feedback queue with variant of multiple vacation policy, balking, server's states-dependent reneging, and retention of reneged customers. We obtain the steady-state solution of the considered queue based on the use of probability generating functions. Then, the closed-form expressions of different system characteristics are derived. Finally, we present some numerical results in order to show the impact of the parameters of impatience timers on the performance measures of the system.

Multilevel feedback queue scheduling (MLFQ) algorithm is based on the concept of several queues in which a process moves. In earlier scenarios there are three queues defined for scheduling. The two higher level queues are running on Round Robin scheduling and last level queue is running on FCFS (First Come First Serve). A fix time quantum is defined for RR scheduling and scheduling of process depends upon the arrival time in ready queue. Previously a lot of work has been done in MLFQ. In our propose algorithm Smart Job First Multilevel feedback queue (SJFMLFQ) with smart time quantum (STQ), the processes are arranged in ascending order of their CPU execution time and calculate a Smart Priority Factor SPF on which processes are scheduled in queue. The process which has lowest SPF value will schedule first and the process which has highest SF value will schedule last in queue. Then a smart time quantum (STQ) is calculated for each queue. As a result, we found decreasing in turnaround time, average waiting time and increasing throughput as compared to the previous approaches and hence increase in the overall performance.

A system with heterogeneous servers, Markov Modulated Poisson flow and instantaneous feedback is studied. The primary call is serviced on a high-speed server, and after it is serviced, each call, according to the Bernoulli scheme, either leaves the system or requires re-servicing. After the completion of servicing of a call in a slow server, according to the Bernoulli scheme, it also either leaves the system or requires re-servicing. If upon arrival of a primary call the queue length of such calls exceeds a certain threshold value and the slow server is free, then the incoming primary call, according to the Bernoulli scheme, is either sent to the slow server or joins its own queue. A mathematical model of the studied system is constructed in the form of a three-dimensional Markov chain. Approximate algorithms for calculating the steady-state probabilities of the models with finite and infinite queues are proposed and their high accuracy is shown. The results of numerical experiments are presented.
