The paper presents a typology of electrical open and short defects on thin-film transistors (TFT) using an electrical tester and automatic optical inspection (AOI). The experiment takes the glass 8.5th generation to detect the electrical characteristics engaged with time delay and integration (TDI) charged-coupled-devices (CCDs), a fast line-scan, and a review CCD with five sets of magnification lenses for further inspection. An automatic data acquisition program (ADAP) controls the open/short (O/S) sensor, TDI-CCD, and motor device for machine vision and statistics of substrate defects simultaneously. Furthermore, the quartz mask installed on AOI verified its optical resolution; a TDI-CCD can grab an image of a moving object during transfers of the charge in synchronous scanning with the object that is significant.

This paper deals with development of a data acquisition program to measure the exhaust time of a mechanical actuated pneumatic valve. The volume, which will be exhausted is determined by a so-called end of line testing procedure. The data acquisition unit is an Advantech ADAM 4117 8 channel analogue input module. The measuring and logging program is developed in LabVIEW software. The program provides the data in comma separated value file format for postprocessing opportunities.

Development of an electric measurement system for rapid determination of the friction coefficient is discussed in this paper. The electric system is capable to use with a ball cage guide bush unit. Two beam load cells are included into the system and the measured values of the forces are processed by microcontrollers. In the course of measurements, normal- and tangential forces of inner or outer surfaces of different enamelled specimens could be determined. A data acquisition program is developed to record the force values to a personal computer. Linear interpolation method is required to synchronize the values of the load cells, which is necessary to calculate the coefficient of friction.

The Georgina and South Nicholson basins and the Isa Superbasin of North West Queensland (NWQ), represent frontier basins earmarked for examination of resource potential under the Strategic Resources Exploration Program. Little exploration has occurred for petroleum resources in these basins although a proven petroleum system exists in both the Isa Superbasin and the Georgina Basin with demonstrated flow at sub-commercial rates. To increase knowledge of the petroleum system, define the extent of the South Nicholson Basin and examine basin architecture, Geoscience Australia acquired deep (to 20-s listening time) seismic data across the South Nicholson Basin and northern Isa Superbasin area in 2017. However, this survey focused on broader structural architecture definition across the Proterozoic Isa Superbasin and South Nicholson and McArthur basins. Little is understood of the petroleum system in the southern Isa Superbasin, or even if this structure is part of the Isa Superbasin, where Proterozoic gas is inferred from mineral boreholes and oil stained Cambrian-aged carbonates exist. To increase understanding of this southern region, the Queensland Government acquired a new NWQ SEEBASE® (depth to basement) model in 2018, and will be undertaking a 2D deep seismic survey within the Camooweal region to better understand the structural architecture, sediment thicknesses and seismic characteristic of packages of this southern area. The seismic survey is centred on the Georgina Basin and will tie into the South Nicholson survey – extending knowledge further south across major structures featured in the SEEBASE® model.

The second gas production attempt from a methane hydrate (MH) deposit in the eastern Nankai Trough area was made in 2017 with the intensive data acquisition program, and it revealed effects of reservoir characters on the MH dissociation behaviors.

In order to realize the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) experiments of a certain type of electric linear actuator in the laboratory, an electric linear load simulator (ELLS) based on LabVIEW+PXI platform was developed to simulate the external force of the actuator under actual working conditions. In structural design, the ball screw is used to convert the PMSM torque into linear force. In hardware design, the system is built using the upper-lower computer system architecture based on PXI bus. In software design, the program is written in LabVIEW, which mainly includes the data processing and display program in the upper computer and the data acquisition program, the loading motor control program and the actuator control program in the lower computer (PXI), in order to ensure the loading accuracy of ELLS, control methods such as force closed-loop PID controller, position feedforward compensation and input feedforward compensation are also introduced in the loading motor program. Finally, the ELLS was built and the signal tracking tests were carried out. The experimental results shows that the loading accuracy can reach 93.5% and 90.3% when ELLS tracks 1000N-2 Hz and 1000N-5 Hz respectively, which proved that the accuracy of ELLS satisfies the “Double Ten Index”.
