A Kind of RFID Middleware Load Balancing Algorithm Based on Agent

RFID middleware plays an important role in extracting information from RFID reader and sending them to the terminal server. Although the traditional middleware technique solution of RFID can ensure the continuous operation of the system, the cost is too much CPU working load and serious waste of physical resources. The Agent that has played a central role in many application fields can also provide non-centralized and adaptive solutions for load balancing. The paper presented a RFID middleware load balancing method based on Agent according to characteristics of RFID middleware and designed adaptive load allocation algorithm. Two kinds of agents were design, namely information collection Agent and load balancing Agent, to collaborate to complete corresponding strategies of load balancing.

MMAP: An Intelligent Object Paradigm for the Monitoring and Control of Mobile-Enterprise

The advances of wireless networking technologies and mobile devices has prompted many modern enterprises to look for management information systems to remotely monitor and control of their company operations in order to increase their flexibility and competitiveness in the market. Multi-agent modeling has emerged as a powerful technology for dealing with cooperation and decision-making processes in distributed information system applications. In this paper, we proposed a Mobile-enterprise Multi-Agent Paradigm (MMAP) which is an intelligent multiagent-based system combined with wireless VPN technology to provide various management operations to senior executives by PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) with wireless data networks. To demonstrate how the architecture can be built, the data collection agent, one of the primary component-ts of the proposed paradigm, is developed into a prototype implementation for part of the MMAP.
