In the current study, we study C70–Carboxyfullerenes Nano molecules (Figure 1) incorporation into the Nano Polymeric Matrix (NPM) by immersion of the Nano Polymeric Modified Electrode (NPME) as molecular enzymes and drug targets for human cancer cells, tissues and tumors treatment under synchrotron and synchrocyclotron radiations.

In 1969, Mutsuyuki Kochi [1, 2] developed 4-Hydroxybenzaldehyde for use as a novel anti-tumor agent without side effect and patent it. Accordingly, this medicine is capable of preventing carcinogenesis when used in sufficient quantity. To treat advanced cancers, an oncologist should start with giving the cancer patient a small dose of 4-Hydroxybenzaldehyde to avoid the possible severe hemorrhage of a tumor caused by excessive necrosis. Therefore, it has useful applications in treating lymphomas and leukemias. Consequently, those who have these diseases can receive a considerably large dose of the medicine.

Introduction: Cutaneous metastases represent an infrequent secondary localization of deep cancers. The neoplasms most often involved are breast cancer, pulmonary and to a lesser degree digestive cancers. The aim of our study was to describe the clinical, histological and evolutionary features of cutaneous metastases associated with pancreatic cancers in 3 patients. Patients and methods: This is a review of 3 patients hospitalized for pancreatic cancers in which cutaneous metastases were observed. The epidemiological, clinical, histological, therapeutic and evolutive characteristics of the patients were noted. Results: We report 3 patients (sex ratio = 2 [M / F = 2/1]), with an average age of 68 years. Cutaneous metastases were found in the abdomen (n = 2) and the thorax (n = 1). The nodule was unique in 1 case and multiple in 2 cases. The primitive was a well differentiated adenocarcinoma in 2 cases and an undifferentiated endocrine carcinoma in one case. The cutaneous metastasis was synchronous in 2 cases and metachronous occurred two years after the diagnosis and treatment of the primary tumor in one case. Other secondary sites were associated in all patients (hepatic predominantly, followed by peritoneal), making palliative treatment the only therapeutic outcome. Two patients received palliative chemotherapy while the third one had altered condition. The mean survival was 2 months. Conclusion: The cutaneous metastases of pancreatic cancers are rarely revealing, polymorphous, sometimes misleading. The most common histological type is adenocarcinoma, whereas undifferentiated carcinomas and endocrine tumors are much more rare. The presence of cutaneous metastases was associated with an advanced stage with consequently a pejorative prognostic value.

In the current study, we have experimentally and comparatively investigated and compared malignant human cancer cells and tissues before and after irradiating of synchrotron radiation using X–Ray Diffraction (XRD), Powder X–Ray Diffraction (PXRD) and Energy–Dispersive X– Ray Diffraction (EDXRD).

Background: Thyroid cancer is an internationally important health problem. The aim of this exploratory study was to evaluate whether significant changes in the thyroid tissue levels of Ag, Co, Cr, Fe, Hg, Rb, Sb, Sc, Se, and Zn exist in the malignantly transformed thyroid. Methods: Thyroid tissue levels of ten trace elements were prospectively evaluated in 41 patients with thyroid malignant tumors and 105 healthy inhabitants. Measurements were performed using non-destructive instrumental neutron activation analysis with high resolution spectrometry of long-lived radionuclides. Tissue samples were divided into two portions. One was used for morphological study while the other was intended for trace element analysis. Results: It was found that contents of Ag, Co, Cr, Hg, and Rb were significantly higher (approximately 12.8, 1.4, 1.6, 19.6, and 1.7 times, respectively) in cancerous tissues than in normal tissues. Conclusions: There are considerable changes in trace element contents in the malignantly transformed tissue of thyroid.

Background: In this analysis we use the National Institute on Aging/Alzheimer’s Association (NIA/AA) criteria to identify Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) in a sample of breast cancer survivors treated with chemotherapy. Methods: Sixty women ages 39-79 on a prospective clinical trial of donepezil were assessed at baseline using a battery of standardized/validated neurocognitive measures. Cognitive status was adjudicated to identify MCI by a panel of dementia experts. Results: Fifty percent were not cognitively impaired, 43% met the NIA/AA criteria for MCI, 2% had dementia, and 5% could not be classified.
