Das Bürstspanen ist ein flexibles Finishingverfahren, dessen Prozessauslegung im industriellen Umfeld meist auf Erfahrungswerten basiert. Neue Erkenntnisse im Bereich der Prozessmodellierung erlauben jedoch zunehmend die numerische Simulation wichtiger Kenngrößen. Somit stellt dieser Beitrag eine Methode vor, die für das Arbeitsergebnis relevanten Kontaktkräfte zu simulieren, indem als Zwischenschritt der vom Werkzeug auf das Werkstück übertragene Kontaktimpuls berechnet wird.   Brushing is a flexible finishing process, whose industrial process design is usually based on experiential values. However, new findings in the field of process modeling increasingly allow for the numerical simulation of important characteristic variables. Hence, this article introduces a method to simulate contact forces relevant for the work result by interim calculation of the contact impulse transmitted by the tool onto the workpiece.
