Descriptions of two new species of african Zyras in the collection of the zoological museum, Berlin

In the present paper, we report the results of a critical revision of the Myxomycetes collection of Young Naturalists Club of Zoological Museum of Moscow State University. The collection consists of 1715 specimens from 142 species in 35 genera, 11 families, and 6 orders. Comprehensive material from Moscow and Moscow Region (1112 specimens), Tver Region (191), and Tyumen Region (112) is presented in the collection. There are also numerous specimens from Irkutsk, Murmansk, Ryazan Regions, and Primorye Territory, and fragmentary collections from Astrakhan, Kaluga, Pskov, Vladimir, Yaroslavl Regions, Altai, Krasnodar, Khabarovsk Territories, Altai and Karelia Republics, as well as Crimean Peninsula and Kingdom of Cambodia (Southeast Asia). During revision we discovered two new species for Russia: Stemonitis uvifera T. Macbr. and Fuligo intermedia T. Macbr. Descriptions and illustrations of these species are presented.

Based on the large examined materials of Tersilochinae from the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (St Petersburg) and other world collections, faunistic records from the Palaearctic Region (mainly from Russia) for 87 tersilochine species belonging to ten genera are provided, including ten species recorded for the first time from Russia. Two new species, Probles smaragdites Khalaim, sp. nov. and Tersilochus turpiculus Khalaim, sp. nov., are described from the Russian Far East. Gelanes tootsae Khalaim, 2002 syn. nov. is synonymised with G. cuspidatus Khalaim, 2002. Tersilochus kerzhneri Khalaim, 2007 is excluded from the fauna of Europe. The male of Tersilochus impunctator Khalaim, 2012 is recorded for the first time. Specimens of Tersilochinae, deposited in the Zoological Institute RAS (St Petersburg) and the Zoological Museum of the Moscow State University (Moscow) and briefly mentioned from the former USSR by K. Horstmann in his revisions (1971, 1981), are found, re-examined, and their complete label data are provided.

The Chinese species of Cleopomiarus Pierce, 1919 (Curculionidae, Curculioninae, Mecinini) are revised. Six taxa are reported: two already know from China (C. distinctus (Boheman, 1845), C. vestitus (Roelofs, 1875)), two cited for the first time from this country (C. flavoscutellatus (Morimoto, 1959), C. graminis (Gyllenhal, 1813)), and two new to science (C. danfengensis Jiang & Caldara n. sp., C. nuerhachii Jiang & Caldara n. sp.). The following new synonymy is proposed: C. distinctus (Boheman, 1845) = Miarus longirostris mandschuricus Voss, 1952 n. syn. Diagnosis, description or redescription, comparative notes and distribution are reported for each species. Dorsal and lateral habitus, as well as details of rostra and genitalia are illustrated. Finally, a key to the species is provided. Type specimens are deposited in the National Zoological Museum of China in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, China.

Abstract—A synopsis of Dicliptera (Acanthaceae) for Brazil is presented. Six species are recognized: Dicliptera ciliaris, D. sexangularis, and D. squarrosa, widely distributed in South America; D. purpurascens, which ranges from the North Region of Brazil (in the state of Acre) to eastern Bolivia; D. gracilirama, a new species from the Atlantic Forest of northeastern Brazil; and D. granchaquenha, a new species recorded in dry and semideciduous forests in Bolivia and western Brazil, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. Furthermore, we propose new synonyms and designate lectotypes for eleven names. An identification key to the six accepted Dicliptera species in Brazil is provided.

Abstract—Two new diploid species, Aira minoricensis and Aira hercynica, are described and illustrated, along with chromosome counts, risk assessment, distribution and habitat, phenology, and comparisons with morphologically similar species. A comparative table and a key for the species of Aira for the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands are provided to assist in the identification of these overlooked species, and their relationships to other taxa are discussed.

Abstract Bed-by-bed sampling of twelve Barremian sections in southeastern France from pelagic basin (Vocontian Basin) to neritic platforms (Arc of Castellane, Arc of Nice and Provencal Domain) has enabled the collection of isochronous samples of the ammonite genus Gassendiceras. Three poorly known species of the Toxancyloceras vandenheckei Zone (Upper Barremian) are revised: G. alpinum, G. multicostatum and G. hoheneggeri; two new species are described (G. rebouleti nov. sp. and G. bosellii nov. sp.). The intraspecific variability of particular species was recognised. This variability is between slender peramorphic and robust paedomorphic extreme morphologies, with the presence of all intermediates.
