ABSTRACTThis research was conducted with the normative approach legislation. Factualapproach, analytical approach to the legal concept of a comparative approach in thecriminal judicial oversight of Children in Conflict with the Law in the criminal sistem inIndonesia. In formulating criminal law criminal policy oversight of Children in Conflict withthe Law in the guidance sistem of positive law in Indonesia, consists of 3 major topics:First, the substance of Children in Conflict with the Law into law in Indonesia, Second,Determination of sanctions / penalties against Children in Conflict with the Law inIndonesia's criminal law policy, Third, criminal oversight of Children in Conflict with theLaw and its relevance to the theory of punishment in modern criminal law in Indonesia.Criminal oversight of Children in Conflict with the Law as the integrative goals ofpunishment in accordance with the ideas and correctional sistem discussed 3 subjectsnamely: First, criminal oversight of anal naughty review of aspects of the integrativetheory of punishment, Second, Criminal oversight of Children in Conflict with the Lawreview of aspects of correctional sistem, Third, Criminal oversight of Children in Conflictwith the Law in terms of aspects of legal protection and benefit of the criminal lawrequirement for social welfare (children). And its application by all law enforcementcomponents and related institutions involved in handling cases of children in conflict withthe law in coaching children in prison.

To reduce uncertainties in determining the source term and evolving condition of spent nuclear fuel is fundamental to the safety assessment. ß-emitting nuclides pose a challenging task for reliable, quantitative determination because both radiometric and mass spectrometric methodologies require prior chemical purification for the removal of interfering activity and isobars, respectively. A method for the determination of 90Sr at trace levels in nuclear spent fuel leachate samples without sophisticated and time-consuming procedures has been established. The analytical approach uses a commercially available automated pre-concentration device (SeaFAST) coupled to an ICP-DRC-MS. The method shows good performances with regard to reproducibility, precision, and LOD reducing the total time of analysis for each sample to 12.5 min. The comparison between the developed method and the classical radiochemical method shows a good agreement when taking into account the associated uncertainties.

Deoxynivalenol (DON) is a mycotoxin mainly produced by Fusarium graminearum that can contaminate cereals and cereal-based foodstuff. Urinary DON levels can be used as biomarker for exposure assessment purposes. This study assessed urinary DON concentrations in Italian volunteers recruited by age group, namely children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. In addition, vulnerable groups, namely vegetarians and pregnant women, were included in the study. To determine the urinary DON, its glucuronide and de-epoxydated (DOM-1) forms, an indirect analytical approach was used, measuring free DON and total DON (as sum of free and glucuronides forms), before and after enzymatic treatment, respectively. Morning urine samples were collected on two consecutive days, from six different population groups, namely children, adolescent, adults, elderly, vegetarians and pregnant women. Total DON was measured in the 76% of the collected samples with the maximum incidences in children and adolescent age group. Urine samples from children and adolescent also showed the highest total DON levels, up to 17.0 ng/mgcreat. Pregnant women had the lowest positive samples per category (40% for day 1 and 43% for day 2, respectively), low mean levels of total DON (down to 2.84 ng/mgcreat) and median equal to 0 ng/mgcreat. Estimation of DON dietary intake reveals that 7.5% of the total population exceeds the TDI of 1 μg/kg bw/day set for DON, with children showing 40% of individuals surpassing this value (male, day 2).

AbstractFor a better approximation of ring-shaped and toroidal cracks, a new eccentric annular crack model is proposed and an analytical approach for determination of the corresponding stress intensity factors is given. The crack is subjected to arbitrary mode I loading. A rigorous solution is provided by mapping the eccentric annular crack to a concentric annular crack. The analysis leads to two decoupled Fredholm integral equations of the second kind. For the sake of verification, the problem of a conventional annular crack is examined. Furthermore, for various crack configurations of an eccentric annular crack under uniform tension, the stress intensity factors pertaining to the inner and outer crack edges are delineated in dimensionless plots.
