Kata kunci: program kasir, rancangan program   Abstract: Citra MJ is a company that has a sales business in the form of clothing. Where Citra Mj in its business process is still constrained in terms of data management. In addition, the payment system for transactions carried out by the cashier is still manual, causing a lot of wasted time. The system that is still manual in data management causes cashiers to have difficulty and takes a long time in finding product data, customer data and transaction data. Therefore, to make this easier, the Citra Mj store makes data processing and makes administrative reports for the cashier system, the Citra Mj store utilizes One of the uses of technology is the use of computer technology by designing a cashier program application for the Citra MJ store. The purpose of this program design is to assist cashier activities in terms of data processing such as product data processing, employee data, transaction data, customer data and report generation. This program application is currently intended for cashiers only, in the future it is possible to develop it into a web-based application. This cashier system uses the waterfall method, where this method is carried out sequentially starting from analysis, design, coding, testing to implementation. In designing the cashier program at the Mj store the programming language used is java, the xampp database with supporting software is NetBeans IDE 8.1. By looking at the test results using the questionnaire method, the level of user satisfaction of the cashier program application is 82.12%, this means that the user is very satisfied with the cashier program application.   Keywords: cashier program, program design

Data Management is one of the critical points of the tool industry since all applications are heavily based on the industrial data processing (mould, machine, etc..) as well as the business process that are enabled thanks to such data and their smart interpretation. This paper gives a brief overview of a software architecture for sensor platform for Data Management Services that could be implemented into the European Tool Making Industry.

Cloud computing as a powerful technology of performing massive-scale and complex computing plays an important role in implementing geological information services. In the era of big data, data are being collected at an unprecedented scale. Therefore, to ensure successful data processing and analysis in cloud-enabled geological information services (CEGIS), we must address the challenging and time-demanding task of big data processing. This review starts by elaborating the system architecture and the requirements for big data management. This is followed by the analysis of the application requirements and technical challenges of big data management for CEGIS in China. This review also presents the application development opportunities and technical trends of big data management in CEGIS, including collection and preprocessing, storage and management, analysis and mining, parallel computing based cloud platform, and technology applications.

The employee information system is one of the data processing activities at the Aceh Language Hall Office, to get information about employees to be more focused and easy to obtain. In this study, researchers only discussed employee problems and data management mechanisms at the Aceh Language Center Office and designed an employee data collection information system using PHP and MySQL. The research objective was to understand the problems of employees and data management at the Aceh Language Center Office and to create a supporting application about employee information systems using PHP and MySQL. The collection of data needed in writing this report was obtained by two methods, namely literature studies related to literature, library books, and other scientific works, field studies by conducting interviews, and direct observation of objects related to this research. The employee information system is carried out by one of the administrative staff and assisted by 2 (two) employee administration staff to record and input employee data. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the employee information system at the Aceh Language Hall Office has followed the procedure and uses a computer with the PHP and MySQL language programs as the database.

Development and wide acceptance of data-driven applications in many aspects of our daily lives is generating waste volume of diverse data, which can be collected and analyzed to support various valuable decisions. Management and processing of this big data is a challenge. The development and extensive use of highly distributed and scalable systems to process big data have been widely considered. New data management architectures (e.g., distributed file systems and NoSQL databases) are used in this context. However, features of big data like their complexity and data analytics demands indicate that these concepts solve big data problems only partially. A development of so called NewSQL databases is highly relevant and even special category of big data management systems is considered. In this chapter, the authors discuss these trends and evaluate some current approaches to big data processing and analytics, identify the current challenges, and suggest possible research directions.

This case introduces accounting students to data management using a “no code” approach. Many tools can be used for extract, transform, load (ETL) processes. Herein, we introduce ETL using Alteryx Designer, a market-leading tool for managing and manipulating data. In the case, students learn basic data cleaning and joining skills, explore key data management concepts including workflows and metadata, and learn how to create and document workflows in Alteryx. Undergraduate or graduate accounting students with basic database knowledge (e.g., in an introduction to accounting systems class) and data processing will benefit from the case. Evidence from use suggests that the case is relevant, challenging, and useful for the goal of teaching introductory and intermediate-level ETL skills, using Alteryx. The case is easy to implement and an important resource for teaching data management and Alteryx Designer.
