In this paper we present an understanding of cyber risks in the Internet of Things (IoT), we explain why it is important to understand what IoT cyber risks are and how we can use risk assessment and risk management approaches to deal with these challenges. We introduce the most effective ways of doing Risk assessment and Risk Management of IoT risk. As part of our research, we also developed methodologies to assess and manage risk in this emerging environment. This paper will take you through our research and we will explain: what we mean by the IoT; what we mean by risk and risk in the IoT; why risk assessment and risk management are important; the IoT risk management for incident response and recovery; what open questions on IoT risk assessment and risk management remain.

As the foundation of the national economy, agriculture is a high-risk, weak industry. Affected by many factors, agricultural production is subject to catastrophe risks from time to time. Agricultural production is mainly faced with two major threats, natural disaster risk and market risk. As an effective risk management tool, the production and promotion of agricultural insurance have played an essential role in guaranteeing the development of the agricultural industry in some developed countries and major agricultural countries in the world. This article combines the Internet of Things and Markov model for agricultural insurance risk management. First, we combine the structure of the Internet of Things and select relevant statistical data. Then, we build a panel data system, starting from two perspectives in different regions and analyze agricultural insurance’s current development and characteristics at each stage. In addition, we use the Markov model to build a panel data model to explore the specific impact mechanisms deeply. We also study the effects of disaster risk levels in different regions on the development of agricultural insurance. After simulation verification, we believe that this model can effectively promote the balanced regional development of agricultural insurance.

The Internet of Things (IoT) has not been around for very long. However, since the notion of IoT introduced, most of IoT studies focused on a strategic level such as planning, architectures, standardization, and latest technologies, however, studies of risk management plan of IoT are still lacking. IoT has been widely used to link existing medical resources and provide reliable, effective and smart healthcare services to elderly and patients with chronic illnesses. However, a systematic process is missing when managing and anticipating the risk of IoT usage in healthcare. For this purpose, this paper extensively explores various IoT technologies used in health care services and its security challenges. As a result, IoT Security Risk Model for Healthcare is introduced to cater a complete process of risk management based on ISO/IEC 27005:2018 standard. It is believed that by having this model, it will emphasize on iterative IoT risk management process as it may increase the depth and detail of the assessment at each iteration.
