Identity management is a fundamental feature of Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem, particularly for IoT data access control. However, most of the actual works adopt centralized approaches, which could lead to a single point of failure and privacy issues that are tied to the use of a trusted third parties. A consortium blockchain is an emerging technology that provides a neutral and trustable computation and storage platform that is suitable for building identity management solutions for IoT. This paper proposes a lightweight architecture and the associated protocols for consortium blockchain-based identity management to address privacy, security, and scalability issues in a centralized system for IoT. Besides, we implement a proof-of-concept prototype and evaluate our approach. We evaluate our work by measuring the latency and throughput of the transactions while using different query actions and payload sizes, and we compared it to other similar works. The results show that the approach is suitable for business adoption.

Abstract Genotype-phenotype association studies often combine phenotype data from multiple studies to increase power. Harmonization of the data usually requires substantial effort due to heterogeneity in phenotype definitions, study design, data collection procedures, and data set organization. Here we describe a centralized system for phenotype harmonization that includes input from phenotype domain and study experts, quality control, documentation, reproducible results, and data sharing mechanisms. This system was developed for the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute’s Trans-Omics for Precision Medicine program, which is generating genomic and other omics data for >80 studies with extensive phenotype data. To date, 63 phenotypes have been harmonized across thousands of participants from up to 17 studies per phenotype (participants recruited 1948-2012). We discuss challenges in this undertaking and how they were addressed. The harmonized phenotype data and associated documentation have been submitted to National Institutes of Health data repositories for controlled-access by the scientific community. We also provide materials to facilitate future harmonization efforts by the community, which include (1) the code used to generate the 63 harmonized phenotypes, enabling others to reproduce, modify or extend these harmonizations to additional studies; and (2) results of labeling thousands of phenotype variables with controlled vocabulary terms.

In order to improve construction site management, we make the architect’ position as the starting point for our research ,analyze the similarities and differences between the project manager and the architect and transform the traditional building construction management system from centralized system into flat -like system. Furthermore, we propose that the implementation of the system must be assisted with the construction of credit system and the establishment and implementation of personal practice insurance system.

Many organizations, both large and small, are investigating the potential of storage architectures for their companies. Few years ago, we built our own virtualized cloud for REMLABNET and we still are taking benefits of this decision. This item handels with using Cloud computing platform for providing Remote laboratories. This work shows, how it is possible to save money if we use centralized system for more consumers. Every consumer can use access to centralized portal in the Cloud computing from Consortium REMLABNET. Every item is focused on enviroments of universities, where this cloud is existing and this is what we want to use for remote labs. This is item from practice knowledge and experiences about system function and managing virtual platform and next construction this proposal.

Considering that the Government of the Republic of Indonesia consists of the central government and regional governments, the administrative system also "adjusts so that a centralized system and a decentralized system are subjected. The system of centralized centralization is a system that refers to the administrative authority that is in the central government. Whereas the decentralized system is a system referring to the administrative authority that is in the regional government The implementation of the two administrative systems is a dynamic cycle and administrative mechanism, one related to each other and supporting each other In relation to the administration of educational programs (administration of curriculum), in Indonesia both systems have been applied The application is intended to support the integration and harmony in the implementation of education or curriculum that is realized through the quality requirements and management authority.

The history of the Roman Empire is a history of continuously looking for new sources of state revenues. Numerous public loads, spontaneously created during the early Empire, without any deeper analysis, created a disordered mess of particular and curious taxes rather than a centralized system as an instrument of controlling economic processes. The tax decisions of the emperors mentioned in the title, in spite of having a significant influence on the state treasury, were, in fact, of the same disordered nature.

Distributed System, plays a vital role in Frequent Subgraph Mining (FSM) to extract frequent subgraph from Large Graph database. It help to reduce in memory requirements, computational costs as well as increase in data security by distributing resources across distributed sites, which may be homogeneous or heterogeneous. In this paper, we focus on the problem related complexity of data arises in centralized system by using MapReduce framework. We proposed a MapReduced based Optimized Frequent Subgrph Mining (MOFSM) algorithm in MapReduced framework for large graph database. We also compare our algorithm with existing methods using four real-world standard datasets to verify that better solution with respect to performance and scalability of algorithm. These algorithms are used to extract subgraphs in distributed system which is important in real-world applications, such as computer vision, social network analysis, bio-informatics, financial and transportation network.
