Traditional network processors (NPs) adopt either local memory mechanism or cache mechanism as the hierarchical memory structure. The local memory mechanism usually has small on-chip memory space which is not fit for the various complicated applications. The cache mechanism is better at dealing with the temporary data which need to be read and written frequently. But in deep packet processing, cache miss occurs when reading each segment of packet. We propose a cooperative mechanism of local memory and cache. In which the packet data and temporary data are stored into local memory and cache respectively. The analysis and experimental evaluation shows that the cooperative mechanism can improve the performance of network processors and reduce processing latency with little extra resources cost.

To solve virtual access to distributed oil-gas field data, a new distributed data access model is used to virtual data access center integration platform in oil-gas field.By introducing multi-task cooperative agent (MTCA-DDA), collaboration of MTCA-DDA can efficiently solve distributed data access collaboration problem. Failure server scheme guarantees distributed data continous access. Periodic exchange and data cache mechanism greatly improve data distributed store and access speed.Virtual data access center integration platform shows MTCA-DDA model can improve data access efficiency and enhance the reliability of data access.MTCA-DDA model with periodic exchange and data cache can effectively solve storage and reliability of massive distributed data access and provides a new way for similar distributed application.

With the rapid development of social networks, privacy has also attracted attention. Based on this problem, a privacy protection scheme for social networks based on classified attribute encryption (PPSSN) is proposed for the data owner and attribute management server to manage user permissions; the approach reduces data owner overhead and also avoids use of a property management server to limit access user collusion attacks. To balance the privacy and security of data publication, this scheme classifies users and designs access control for different users and different privileges. In addition, this paper also introduces a good friend data cache mechanism to improve and optimize the original scheme to reduce the cost of decryption. The efficiency and system overhead of the proposed scheme are compared and analyzed based on experiments. The experiments show that the proposed scheme improves query efficiency, reduces system cost, and enhances privacy security.

WiMAX networks are the most suitable for E-Learning through their Broadcast and Multicast Services at rural areas. Authentication of users is carried out by AAA server in WiMAX. In E-Learning systems the users must be forced to perform reauthentication to overcome the session hijacking problem. The reauthentication of users introduces frequent delay in the data access which is crucial in delaying sensitive applications such as E-Learning. In order to perform fast reauthentication caching mechanism known as Key Caching Based Authentication scheme is introduced in this paper. Even though the cache mechanism requires extra storage to keep the user credentials, this type of mechanism reduces the 50% of the delay occurring during reauthentication.
