Co0.76Cu0.74[Fe(CN)6]·7.5H2O was prepared as a powder by a chemical co-precipitation method. The powder X-ray diffraction patterns were indexed to the typical face-centred cubic structure with the lattice parameter a 10.55(2) Å. The temperature dependence of the χ−1 curve obeys the Curie–Weiss law (χ = C/(T – θ)) in the temperature range of 180–300 K. According to Curie–Weiss law, the calculated θ value is −54.82 K. In the paramagnetic state at 300 K, the effective magnetic moment (μeff = (8χT)1/2) is 3.58 μB per formula unit. The calculated theoretical effective magnetic moment is 4.06 μB. The magnetic field cooling measurements under a 200 Oe applied magnetic field show that the saturation magnetization value at 2 K of the complex Co0.76Cu0.74[Fe(CN)6]·7.5H2O is 1.528 emu g−1.

Magnetic properties of Ni3Al1-yMny alloys at y≤0.6 were investigated at T≤400 K in magnetic fields H≤4 MA/m. The concentration y dependencies of the spontaneous magnetic moment s, the effective magnetic moment eff, the Curie temperature ТС, the Weiss constant , and the temperature independent part of the magnetic susceptibility 0 were determined. The behavior of the Rhodes-Wohlfarth parameter р(y) in the transition region from the itinerant electron magnetism to the spin localized one is related to the increase in the spontaneous magnetic moment of Ni atoms inversely proportional to the average distance between Mn atoms with the highly localized magnetic moments.

A ternary compound Al3CoNd2 was synthesized and its crystal structure parameters were determined by the Rietveld refinement method based on powder X-ray diffraction data. Results show that the compound crystallizes in the MgCu2-type structure (cubic Laves C15 phase, space group $Fd\bar{3}m$ ), with the lattice parameter of a = 7.8424(2) Ǻ, unit-cell volume of V = 482.33 Å3, and calculated density of Dcalc = 5.90 g.cm−3. The residual factors converge to Rp = 0.1024 and Rwp = 0.1287. The reference intensity ratio value obtained experimentally is 3.03. Magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate an agreement with the Curie–Weiss law in the temperature range of 385–450 K, and paramagnetic Curie temperature of θp = 379.9 K. Both rare-earth elements and cobalt ions contribute to the paramagnetic moment. The saturation magnetic moment and magnetic hysteresis loop were measured for the Al3CoNd2 compound at various temperatures. Results show that the saturation magnetic moment value decreases with an increase in temperature and the compound becomes a ferromagnet below the Curie temperature Tc.

The effect of cobalt deficiency in a single crystal of double layered cobaltite GdBaCo1.86O5.32 on the magnetic properties was investigated. We have found that in the region 210 - 400 K the sample has the ferrimagnetic state with the Neel temperature (TN ~ 400 K) which is above the Curie temperature (TC ~ 262 K). In the paramagnetic region T = 410 - 650 K the effective magnetic moment is μeff = 8.78 μB, that points out the intermediate spin state (IS) of Co3+ ions.

We report the magnetic properties of EuxCa1-xB6 single crystals (0.756x1) studied in the wide range of temperatures (1.8-300 K) and magnetic fields (up to 50 kOe). It was found that low field magnetic susceptibility χ (T) follows the Curie-Weiss law χ~(T-Θp)-1 at high temperatures for all the concentrations studied. The effective magnetic moment of the Eu2+ ion estimated from the data diminishes from the free ion value μeff7.93μB (μB - Bohr magneton) for x=1 to μeff7.3μB for x=0.756. A universal behavior of magnetic susceptibility χ~(T-Θ)-α (α=1.5) is detected close to the Curie temperature TC in the paramagnetic state at both metallic (x>xC~0.8) and dielectric (xC.

The Mo2B2Fe-type intermetallic compounds Gd2Cu2In and Gd2Cu2Mg form a complete set of solid solutions Gd2Cu2In1−xMgx. The a lattice parameter, the Weiss constant and the Curie temperature increase with increasing magnesium content in an almost Vegard-like manner, while the c parameter remains almost constant. All members of the solid solutions show ferromagnetism with TCs between 114 and 80 K.
