In the novel, Sweet Tooth, McEwan has employed an ethical code of conduct called, Dysfunction of Relationship. The analysis shows that he tries to convey something extraordinary to the readers. If it is not even the reader to understand such a typical thing, He himself represents a new ethical code of conduct. The character of the novel, Serena is almost a person who is tuned to such a distinct one. It is clear that the character of this type is purely representational. Understanding reality based on situation and ethics has been a new field of study in terms of Post- Theory. Intervening to such aspect of Interpretation, this research article establishes a new study in the writings of Ian McEwan. In the novel, Dysfunction is not on the ‘Self’ but it is on the ‘Other’. The author tries to integrate the function of the Character Serena, instead of fragmenting the self. Hence, Fragmentation makes sense only in the dysfunction of relationship.

AbstractIn this paper, we propose an architecture supporting online open communities, where by open communities, we mean communities where previously unknown people can join, possibly for a limited amount of time. The fundamental question that we address is “how we can make sure that an individual’s requirements are taken into consideration by the community while her privacy is respected and the community’s ethical code is not violated”. The main contributions are: (i) a conceptual framework which allows to describe individual and community profiles, including data and norms that provide information about their owner and their requirements, and (ii) a decentralised architecture enabling interactions that leverage the exchange of profile information among people and communities to ensure that requirements are fulfilled and privacy is respected.

Islamic psychotherapy has been an interesting discussion over the past few years. This is indicated by the number of studies on Islamic psychotherapy, both literature studies and experiments. As a method of psychotherapy, Islamic psychotherapy cannot be separated from ethics code. However, Islamic psychotherapy is based on two principles, namely the science of psychology and Islamic religion. It leads to debate about the form of ethical code of Islamic psychotherapy. This study aimed to provide suggestions for the formulation of a code of ethics in Islamic psychotherapy using literature study. The result is a clear formulation of ethical code of Islamic psychotherapy. The formulation is based on psychology ethics which is then interpreted according to the context of Islamic psychotherapy. It is intended that the perception and implementation of Islamic psychotherapy can be standardized and not leading to ethical violations
