In the era of education information and globalization, a new mode of teaching and micro class has emerged in the background of the Internet, which brings new challenges and opportunities to the teaching of the classroom. MOOCs has been piloted and applied in many universities in the form of SPOC. As a new form of curriculum, micro course has been applied to the teaching and learning process. The integration of Moor and micro class resources helps to turn the classroom into a mixed mode. This article will focus on this hot topic to analyse the characteristics of the class, the characteristics of the micro class and the influence on the students and teachers, to improve the quality of teaching and to realize the individualized and active study of the students. The article summarizes the results of blended teaching mode at home and abroad, and explores the development and application of MOOC and micro class resources.

In general, over 70% of students can adapt to this blended learning model after experiencing the blended learning model for some time, which can satisfy the in-dividual differences of students in a better way, attain some assistance from it and help to improve learning performance and learning ability. It can be discovered from this research that the blended learning model is superior to the single and traditional teaching mode or the pure network teaching mode in the aspects of in-spiring the learning interest of students, exercising self-management capability of students and self-evaluation ability. It can be seen from the specific situation of investigation data that it is feasible to implement the blended learning model in colleges and universities even though the overall level of students’ ability in the blended learning is low. As this is a preliminary investigation into the blended learning model, specific solutions or strategies have not been provided for some problems. However, it is believed to achieve greater effects if the research is con-tinued on the practice.

China has entered the 21st century, the Internet has entered an era of rapid development, especially in recent years, with the emergence of five G, China’s Internet development has entered a new journey, with the rapid development of the Internet, China’s various industries can not do without the Internet, whether real estate, financial industry or even education industry. In recent years, under the influence of the newly created “Internet” education model, the English teaching methods of major colleges and universities have also undergone great reform. A new teaching mode, which combines the means of past education and teaching with modern information network, makes teaching no longer restricted by time and space. This kind of teaching mode can not only improve students’ interest in learning, meet the needs of modern students, but also improve the quality of English teaching in colleges and universities.
