AbstractThe assembly of cables in industrial production is still a largely manually performed task. Therefore, automatic cable assembly offers much potential in terms of efficiency. The major challenge of automating this task lies in the formlessness of the cables, which entails unknown and inconstant states of the assembly objects. In this paper, a process chain and a concept are presented for the automated cable assembly in an industrial context. The process chain consists of five process steps, which are used to structure existing approaches and system configurations for automated cable assembly from a production technology perspective. The emphasis is on the coverage of the process steps and the system technology. The presented concept represents an approach for robotic cable assembly focusing on the flexibility to process multiple product variants. Basis for the ability to handle a variety of variants is the avoidance of a forced shape on the cables. For this approach, system technology as well as challenges and possible solutions are presented.

This paper sets out the properties and the results of the testing of new antiozonants 2PPD and 3PPD in place of standard and imported 6PPD and IPPD which are used in the production of mechanical rubber goods and tyres (in the sidewall, tread, and other elements). The proposed method for producing the new antiozonants makes it possible to organise their industrial production by low-cost technology, in contrast to 6PPD and IPPD production technology. The raw materials for the new antiozonants include ethylene and propylene glycols, available in Russia, and 4-aminodiphenylamine, imported for the production in Russia of antioxidant S789, which is widely used in the production of large-tonnage rubbers, in particular synthetic isoprene rubber SKI-3, over 70% of the volume of which is exported. A number of advantages of 3PPD over imported stabilisers have been established. These include a greater effectiveness in protecting rubber compounds against thermal oxidation and ozone cracking by comparison with the stabilisers it is replacing. The shortcomings of the new antiozonant (in terms of the form in which it is produced and in terms of its influence on the vulcanisation kinetics) are considered, and various ways to overcome these shortcomings are presented.

На салатных линиях проведено испытание новых сортов листового салата селекции агрохолдинга «Поиск»: Задор, Восторг, Поиск Ст 16. Результаты подтвердили их пригодность для промышленных технологий производства салата. Наиболее перспективен сорт Поиск Ст 16. При испытании в тепличном комбинате «Горьковский» (г. Нижний Новгород) в 2017 году на тридцать восьмые сутки он сформировал листовую розетку высотой 38 см, массой 241 г. Листовая пластинка насыщенно зеленого цвета, листья розетки расположены близко друг к другу и образуют очень плотную розетку, а не разваливающийся куст.On the lettuce technological lines the new cultivars of lettuce bred at Poisk Agro holding were tested: Zador, Vostorg, Poisk St 16. The results confirmed their suitability for industrial production technology of lettuce. The most promising cultivar is Poisk St 16. When tested in greenhouse Gorky complex (Nizhny Novgorod) in 2017, at the thirty-eighth day he formed a leaf rosette height 38 cm, weight 241 g. Leaf blade deep green, the leaves of the rosette are placed close to each other and form a very dense rosette, not the crumbling hive.

There has been a tendency in certain recent studies of industrial location to use aggregated samples which draw together, and consider similarly, wide-ranging types of industrial production. With regard to labour considerations in mobile firms, interest has frequently gravitated towards an analysis of the variation in managerial competence to solve labour difficulties and has largely ignored the reality that the extent of the labour problem will vary between firms. This paper, with the aid of empirical data from the scientific and industrial instruments and systems industry, will argue that the product and process technologies of individual industries dictate the complexity of the labour requirement of firms. It is concluded that the effect of labour requirements on mobile industrial firms can only be realistically examined in studies of the labour problems of mobile industry if production technology, and its influence on the subsequent labour requirement, is acknowledged and included as a key variable.

Cyclical Volatility

Calculation of the aggregated "consensus" industrial production index has made it possible to date cyclical turning points and to measure the depth and length of the main industrial recessions in Russian Empire/USSR/Russia for the last century and a half. The most important causes of all these recessions are described. The cyclical volatility of Soviet/Russian industry is compared to that of American one.
