The purpose of this paper is an investigation of LEDs illumination experience at US-based aerodromes with an assessment of its feasibility and its necessity in Russia. The following methods were used: the analysis of aerodrome lighting requirements; the review and the analysis of development features in aerodrome LEDs illumination; the experience analysis of LEDs illumination of US-based aerodromes; the deductive analysis and the assessment synthesis of feasibility and necessity of US experience in LEDs illumination at Russian-based aerodromes. The following results were achieved: – The analysis of issues and opportunities was conducted for development of LEDs illumination at US-based aerodromes and of American experts’ recommendations for its use; – The cases were taken for use and assessment of development in LEDs illumination at US-based aerodromes; – The review and the analysis were conducted in relation to a developing market of LEDs illumination at Russian-based aerodromes. The main conclusion is that the US experience will improve quality and reliability of service provided in air transportation, comfort, and safety of Russian flights, as well as competitiveness of Russian- based airports and airlines (indirectly).

Modern time managers have access to many more data sources than managers of earlier times, and better instruments and resources to deal with large amounts of data. In principle, this means that they have a better command of facts and should be able to work out better assessments of their business environment. In reality, however, information overflow and problems with the quality and reliability of information complicate the picture. We have a support system with intelligent agents to help managers conduct constantly active scanning and interpretation activities with hundreds of data sources. The system was built on a Java platform and has been enhanced and developed in several versions. The first implementation was at the Alko Group (the producers of the Finlandia vodka). The system is expected to provide mangers with a broad and comprehensive first approximation of environmental trends and events as needed, and will help them extract useful information from large volumes of data. Improvement in the requirements for engineering practices is needed in areas such as requirement elicitation, validation, prioritization, and negotiations between stakeholders to create successful projects for COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) software. Many algorithms and techniques are used to create quality software projects, but they still need more improvement to work effectively for global pandemic COVID-19 software. By improving the reliability of requirement engineering practices using blockchain-based technology, the software will be reliable and will make it easier for the users working in a lockdown situation because of COVID-19. Therefore, our purpose is to identify the factors for reliable software engineering practices using blockchain-oriented technology for COVID-19 software. A systematic literature review is conducted to identify challenges and offer solutions. Through using blockchain-based technology for requirement engineering practices, the requirements will be gathered accurately and validated, and the conflicts between stakeholders will also be solved. It will improve the quality and reliability of COVID-19 software projects, which will help society work effectively from home. Improvement in the quality and reliability of COVID-19 software will improve users’ interest, and their working capacity will be increased.
