Of this technique compared to the conventional deep drawing is that the circular cup can be carried out in single action press with limit In this paper a new mechanism for deep drawing was proposed to produce circular cup from thin plate without blank holder. In this technique the die assembly includes punch, die and die-punch. A 2D axisymmetric finite element model was built using DEFORM software. Effect of die geometry (half- cone angle) on maximum load, thickness distribution, strain distribution and effect of clearance ratio between punch and (die-punch) on the wrinkling of the cup were investigated. Three half-cone angles of die (15o, 30o and 45o) were used for forming sheet metal of brass (CuZn37) which had initial thickness of (1mm) at four clearance ratio (c/t) for die of 30o half-cone angle. Finite element model results showed good agreement with experimental results. Die of 30o half-cone angle with clearance ratio (c/t) of 0.9 gave the best product without wrinkling. The main advantage drawing ratio (LDR) of 1.86 and blank diameter to blank thickness ratio (d/t) < 86.

Drawbead are often used to control the flow of material, stress and deep drawing force in the flange area. This paper discussed the drawbead (fully, not fully and without drawbead) that combined with variations in the blank holder force against restriction of material flow and drawbead restriction force of deep drawing with palm oil lubrication. In this paper, analytical and experiments are used to predict the drawbead restraining and deep drawing force. The tin steel sheet with a thickness of 0.2 mm is used as speciment. The results obtained, that the application fully drawbead be very effective in controlling the flow of materials in the flange, as compared to not fully and without drawbead. In the beginning of the process (punch stroke < 4 mm), the magnitude of restraining force and deep drawing force can be increased. And, the magnitude of Radial Stress increases, conversely the magnitude of tangential stress decreased. This can prevent the occurrence optimum blank holder force is recommended in range 4394-8788 N. Comparisons of results between the analysis and experiments show the phenomenon is similar.

A simulation of deep drawing process on the sheet metal was done by using Dynaform, the influence of blank holder force, deep drawing speed and friction coefficient on the forming speed of sheet metal in the deep drawing process were got. The forming speed of sheet metal determines the quality of deep drawing, in the deep drawing process the blank holder force and the deep drawing speed are controllable parameters, the friction coefficient can be intervened and controlled, and it’s a manifestation of the interaction of all parameters, the main factors which influence the friction coefficient just have blank holder force, deep drawing speed and lubrication except the material. The conclusion of this study provides the basic data for the analysis of the lubrication of mould, the study of lubricant and the prediction of the service life of deep drawing die.

On the basses of analyzing the defects of variable blank holder force hydraulic press on construction and its rigid being not enough,the realization of designing method,working principle,hydraulic and system for ne controlling w type upper multi-point deep drawing with variable blank—holding force controlled by computer was introduced.In order to verify the effect of application of this set up,the testing results of deep drawing a rectangular box and a cylindrical cup formed component was presented. The results show that the equipment has low cost, general in using and optimal efficient of controlling.
