AbstractIn a society that has to reconcile two areas which are conceptually very distant from each other, such as interdisciplinarity and specialization, the education for young people is essential to form a thought to understand complexity, thanks also to the stimuli deriving from increasingly powerful and interconnected technological and IT environments. So, it is essential to identify teaching–learning processes and methods that allow students to understand and act adequately with a constantly evolving reality. Transdisciplinary themes can be introduced to enrich the students' curriculum by anchoring them strongly to the wealth of emerging technologies, using their potential and designing educational activities focused on technology and attractive to the various spheres of knowledge. In this paper is presented an experimental activity of designing Smart objects in the Internet of Things conducted with students of the “Mathematical High School” project.

The blended laboratory model in this study refers to an integrated laboratory concept combining synchronous (real laboratory activities) using the Internet of things (IoT) and asynchronous learning with augmented reality (AR). The application of blended laboratory model in science learning teachers is still low in Indonesia due to the lack of ICT support for online learning. This preliminary study was conducted to analyze the need for the development of the blended laboratory model with IoT and AR involving 45 science teachers and 42 junior high school students as the respondents with stratified random sampling technique. The research method employed survey and focus group discussion. The results of the study showed that (1) 67% of teachers and 92% of students have never used AR, (2) 72% of teachers and 89% of students have never utilized IoT, (3) 65% of science laboratories in the junior high school do not have proper devices for AR application, (5) 76% of science laboratories in the junior high schools are not facilitated with proper equipment for the IoT application, (6) the respondents stated that the development of blended laboratory is very important (72%) and important (18%) to support IT-based learning, especially to deal with the conditions after the Covid-19 outbreak.  ©2021  JSER. A high school is a place that is used as a place for the learning and teaching process, so a comfortable place is needed from disturbances in the study room. The Design System for Noise Monitoring Devices as an Effort to Minimize Noise Based on the Internet of Things (IoT) is designed to create comfort in the learning and teaching process at SMAN Tapaktuan so that teachers can concentrate without disturbing the noise generated by students. This tool is controlled by nodemcu and a sound sensor as a noise detector with an appropriate output by sending notifications to the Blynk Application. How the tool works when the sound sensor detects a noise level between 30 dB to 49 dB then dfplayer will issue a warning in the form of a warning "this room is noisy" and send a notification to the blynk application with the text form "room A is noisy" if the sensor detects above 50 dB then a warning loud sound will be issued by Dfplayer in the form of sound and at the same time send notifications to the blynk application. The purpose of the tool Any noise detected by the sound sensor then dfplayer will issue a small or loud warning and send a notification to the blynk application.

The existing stand-alone multimedia machines and online multimedia machines in the market have certain deficiencies, so they cannot meet the actual needs. Based on this, this research combines the actual needs to design and implement a multi-media system based on the Internet of Things and cloud service platform. Moreover, through in-depth research on the MQTT protocol, this study proposes a message encryption verification scheme for the MQTT protocol, which can solve the problem of low message security in the Internet of Things communication to a certain extent. In addition, through research on the fusion technology of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, this research designs scheme to provide a LightGBM intelligent prediction module interface, MQTT message middleware, device management system, intelligent prediction and push interface for the cloud platform. Finally, this research completes the design and implementation of the cloud platform and tests the function and performance of the built multimedia system database. The research results show that the multimedia database constructed in this paper has good performance.

This paper discusses the organisations involved in the development of application standards, European regulations and best practice guides, their scope of work and internal structures. It considers their respective visions for the requirements for future standardisation work and considers in more detail those areas where these overlap, namely human centric or integrative lighting, connectivity and the Internet of Things, inclusivity and sustainability.
