Abstract Despite the proliferation as well as great advances in the development of dynamic models applied to project management, research that applies system dynamics principles to program management does not seem to be as fertile. The objective of this paper is to obtain a more accurate vision of how the system dynamics theory is being used in the development of the program management field. The bibliometric-qualitative study confirms there is a robust use of system dynamics tools in the project management area, with a wide range of applications as well as solid results. The study, however, also shows that for programs, despite a noticeable increase regarding the interest in program management by organizations, clearly there is much less research uniting program management and system dynamics. More importantly, some dynamic models are being used to improve the performance of programs, however, few studies take into consideration the specific variables from program management. Thus, we conclude that current research on these two topics can only be viewed as fragmented and in its early stages, offering ample room for improvement.

Introduction:Behavioral and psychological symptoms in dementia (BPSD) have great impact on the daily lives of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) patients and their caregivers. Timely recognition and treatment of these symptoms may benefit quality of life, caregiver burden, and delay disease progression. In this qualitative study we examine the experiences of memory clinic physicians with the recognition and management of BPSD in early stages of AD.Methods:Semi-structured interviews were held with 8 physicians (5 neurologists, 3 geriatricians) employed at memory clinics of academic or general hospitals in the Netherlands. Two independent researchers coded verbatim transcripts of the interviews, followed by a consensus meeting on preliminary themes. In the upcoming months, additional interviews will be conducted until data saturation is reached. Results:Preliminary results indicate substantial variability in how memory clinic physicians recognize and diagnose BPSD in AD. Themes are: 1. Prevalence of BPSD in early stages of AD; e.g. ‘BPSD is more often present in late stages of AD […]’ vs. ‘I see this often, very often, I think these are the main problems people with AD face’). 2. Systematic assessment; some physicians consider it part of their clinical work-up to assess behavioral changes while other physicians do not touch upon BPSD. 3. Barriers for assessment; e.g. a lack of time, and not being able to observe BPSD occurring at home in a memory clinic setting. Treatment and management of BPSD in AD also differed greatly. Themes are 1. Treatment type; Two physicians discussed using a person-centered non-pharmacological approach, others refer patients with BPSD to daycare, a case manager or psychiatrist, or treat ‘problematic’ behaviors with psychotropic drugs. 2. Capabilities; some physicians experience managing BPSD in AD as very difficult, while others are confident about their capabilities. The majority suggests that collaboration with GPs or case managers may benefit treating these complex symptoms. Conclusion:There are remarkable differences in the recognition and management of BPSD in patients with AD visiting memory clinics in the Netherlands. Considering the potential benefit of early recognition and treatment, a first crucial step is discussing standardization of recognition and management of BPSD in memory clinics.

AbstractChristian leadership is an important thing that must be prepared properly. Christian values must be a value that differentiates them from other leadership values. A Christian leader is not just an ordinary leadership role. Christian leaders must also be able to prepare a leadership successor. In the leadership of Imam Eli, Samuel was the successor to the leadership chosen by God. Samuel was a stranger to Imam Eli, but God prepared Samuel to be the successor of Imam Eli's leadership. This study is a qualitative study using the literature study method. This study examines the attitudes and roles of Elkanah and Hannah as parents in Samuel's childhood life. The results obtained are: First, parents who are obedient and loyal to God have an important role in the early stages of forming a Christian leader. Second, parents must take care and must prepare each child properly in order to be able to serve God and to become a Christian leader. After caring for and preparing a child, parents must also give consent for their child to serve God. Christian leadership is not formed in an instant way, but is formed when prospective Christian leaders are young.

Literature on categories recognizes that in the early stages of a category, ambiguity can arise from divergent frames used to define the category. Yet it also largely expects this ambiguity to be either temporary, or else detrimental to the survival and evolution of the category. In this study, we demonstrate and explain how, alternatively, category ambiguity can persist when multiple frames continue to be applied to a category as it progresses into maturity. Drawing on an in-depth qualitative study of the case of social entrepreneurship, we examine how and under what conditions this outcome occurs. We specify two co-occurring conditions that prompt category stakeholders to shift their framing from exclusive to inclusive, enabling category ambiguity to persist. We furthermore show how the use of category frames that draw from pre-existing resonant categories supports the persistence of category ambiguity. We contribute to literature on categories by clarifying the antecedents of category evolution towards a trajectory of persistent ambiguity.
