Summary Five diagnostic criteria sets for pathological grief are currently used in research. Studies evaluating their performance indicate that it is not justified to generalise findings regarding prevalence rates and predictive validity across studies using different diagnostic criteria of pathological grief. We provide recommendations to move the bereavement field forward.

SYSNOPSISA structured interview was developed to assess the drive, realism, self-confidence, and self-rated disablement of psychiatric patients in relation to work. The clinical and research value of the interview was demonstrated by (1) studies of rater consistency, temporal stability, and parallel form reliability, and (2) by an investigation of its predictive validity.

A version of the Double Standard Scale (SDSS) is presented to assess the subjectiveperception of society's support for the Sexual Double Standard (SDS). We examine itspsychometric properties in a sample of Spanish population heterosexual of 1,206individuals (50% males), distributed across three groups (18-34, 35-49, and 50 yearsold or older). We performed Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory. The foundversion consists of 18 item distributed into three factors (Acceptance for Male SexualShyness,Acceptance for Female Sexual Freedom and Acceptance for TraditionalDouble Standard). A second-order factor structure was also adequate. Internalconsistency, temporal stability and validity evidence are reported. This version of theSDSS is reliable and valid. It allows to assess the perception of societal sexual doublestandard. Its usefulness to improve the predictive validity of the standardized scalesthat evaluate the individual adhesion to SDS is discussed.

The aim of this study is to validate and adapt to the Spanish context of Physical Education (PE) the State Mindfulness Scale (SMS). The study included 1428 students aged 13–19. In order to analyse the psychometric properties of the SMS, an exploratory factorial analysis was carried out to confirm the presence of two factors, a confirmatory factorial analysis that has offered support for both the structure of two factors. We also included an analysis of temporal stability, an analysis of invariance across gender, an analysis of internal consistency and an analysis of predictive validity through a t-test in which mental health (β = −0.28, p < 0.001) and physical or bodily experience (β = −0.16, p < 0.001) negatively predicted anxiety, respectively. The structure of the questionnaire was valid and reliable, gender-neutral and with adequate levels of temporal stability.
