The article considers the problems of irrigation water quality in Central Asia through hydroecological monitoring. Practical and scientific recommendations for solving these problems are offered. There are noted the necessity of development of scientific base of researches on all aspects of water quality and protection of water resources; adoption of laws and administrative documents on protection of waters and improvement of their quality; performance of various engineering, technological actions. The hydroecological state of surface waters of large irrigated areas of the Amudarya river basin was studied for regieon: Surkhandarya, Kashkadarya, Khorezm and irrigated zones of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. It is noted that the process of salinization of irrigated lands is dangerous for the region. According to the calculations 50...55 million tons of various salts are came to irrigated annually fields. This is the reason for the deterioration of the hydrological state of irrigated agriculture in the region.

Abstract The aim of the study was to determine changes in water quality, including chemistry of outflow from two rivers: Łutownia and Perebel located in the Białowieża Primeval Forest. Water chemistry was investigated once in every three months in the years 2011-2014. Catchments differed in forest cover and habitat types. The results of the analysis of river waters were compared with the limit values for each class of water quality as settled by the legal standards. It was found that the quality of the water in rivers declined due to high concentrations of carbon and nitrogen organic forms. In general, there was observed a decrease of the concentration of organic nitrogen and an increase of the concentration of mineral nitrogen, especially in the Perebel catchment area.

− The quality of water hold on important rule in the field of fisheries, especially in cultivation activities. Parameters of water quality are often observed such as temperature, pH, salinity, and others. The influence of water quality on cultivation activity is very important therefore supervision of water quality parameters is absolute done by cultivators. This research  had created the quality of water monitoring system in fishponds wirelessly. The system consist of the transmitter that integrated with LM35 sensor, pH meter kit sensor and conductivity sensor as measurer of water quality, and the receiver receive datum transmitted wirelessly with nRF24L01 module a long 5 meters distance from transmitter. The receiver equipped with an interface with PC which can save data measurement automatically to Microsoft Excel. The results of the validation of the measurement instrument obtained  average of error relative to measurement were 0.01 0C for temperature, 0.005 for pH and 0.008 ppt for salinity. In summary, the measurement of water quality in surface water fishponds of temperature is 29oC until 38oC, pH is 8,6 until 11,9 and salinity is 12 until 21 ppt.

a spatio-temporal analysis of the main indicators of the water quality of the Hodza River, the change in time of water quality along the river under the conditions of anthropogenic impact is carried out. In general, the waters of the river are characterized as “extremely dirty”. Among the pollutants, iron and ammonium nitrogen compounds absolutely prevail. There is a tendency to some improvement in the quality of river waters downstream. In the upper reaches, the COD is 1.7 and 2.5 times higher than in the middle and upper reaches; BOD – 1.6 and 2.3 times, respectively.

<p>The aim of the present study is to analyze the influence of water transposition from Rio Grande System on the quality of water in Taiçupeba Reservoir, Suzano city, SP. Water samples were collected every two months for one year (from June 2016 to April 2017) in four sampling spots. Physical, chemical and biological water analyses were carried out; Water Quality and Trophic State indices were also applied. There was influence of water transposition from Rio Grande System on the quality of the water in Taiaçupeba Reservoir throughout the assessed period. The quality of the water was similar in all sampling spots, except for P3, which recorded the worst results. Point 3 was located in an urbanized zone of Taiaçupeba sub-basin; therefore, it is likely that the worse water quality in this spot has resulted from contamination by domestic sewage. It is recommended to carry out further studies based on longer sampling period in the same environment.</p>

Aiming at the eutrophication state of Dian Lake, based on hydrodynamics principle, and some available information about Dian Lake, such as eco-environmental construction planning, the previous work, and so on, a vertical-averaged 2-D hydrodynamic model of ecosystem is established under combination of wetland plants, bed mud, and water change. The model is applied to simulate flow and concentration fields of present lake water, and lake waters after breakwater removal and wetland build. It is also used to simulate concentration field of wastewater discharged into Dian Lake which meets the discharge standard. The influences of wetland plants and water expanding on flow field and water quality are analyzed, and the effect of wastewater discharged into Dian Lake which meets the discharge standard on water quality is analyzed, too. The results show that: The influence of water expanding on flow field is local; and the influence of wetland plants on flow field occurs primarily at wetland areas; and the influence of water expanding on water quality is not great because the total phosphorus(TP) and the total nitrogen(TN) reduce to 1.69mg/L and 0.16mg/L from 2.08mg/L and 0.19mg/L respectively; and the influence of ecological wetland on water quality is great, because the TP and the TN reduce to 0.76mg/L and 0.05mg/L respectively, which could make the water quality of Dian Lake reach Ⅲ class of The National Surface Water Standards; and the influence of wastewater discharged into Dian Lake which meets the discharge standard on water quality is big, because the TP and the TN reduce to 0.17mg/L and 0.01mg/L respectively, which could obviously improve the water quality. Therefore, wastewater discharged into Dian Lake which meets the discharge standard and artificial wetland play an important role in the improvement of the ecological environment of Dian Lake.
