JSC "Kharkiv Machine-Building Plant "Svitlo Shahtarja" has created and introduced into serial production a new generation UKD200-500 coal shearer. The most loaded element of the shearer is its cutting part. It is a three-stage reducer with an electric motor. Calculations for the strength and durability of gearing, shafts, bearings, spline, pinned and hinge joints have been carried out. The modeling of the stress-strain state for the main parts and assemblies by the finite element method has also been carried out. Calculations have shown that the strength and durability of all parts is ensured. Consequently, the required durability of 15000 hours and the average resource before major overhaul are not less than 800...1000 thousand tons are provided.

Boundary domains delimit and organize organ growth throughout plant development almost relentlessly building plant architecture and morphogenesis. Boundary domains display reduced growth and orchestrate development of adjacent tissues in a non-cell autonomous manner. How these two functions are achieved remains elusive despite the identification of several boundary-specific genes. Here, we show using morphometrics at the organ and cellular levels that leaf boundary domain development requires SPINDLY (SPY), an O-fucosyltransferase, to act as cell growth repressor. Further we show that SPY acts redundantly with the CUP-SHAPED COTYLEDON transcription factors (CUC2 and CUC3), which are major determinants of boundaries development. Accordingly at the molecular level, CUC2 and SPY repress a common set of genes involved in cell wall loosening providing a molecular framework for the growth repression associated with boundary domains. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) confirmed that young leaf boundary domain cells have stiffer cell walls than marginal outgrowth. This differential cell wall stiffness was reduced in spy mutant. Taken together our data reveal a concealed CUC2 cell wall associated gene network linking tissue patterning with cell growth and mechanics.

This paper discusses the urban planning history of an area in Saint Petersburg around the former Moskovskaya Zastava, a historical gateway that travelers passed through when approaching Saint Petersburg from the direction of Moscow. Specifically, authors are interested in the architecture of the carriage building plant. By the end of the 19th century, this part of the city had turned into an industrial area, which saw dense development from 1897 to 1917. The development of heavy industry and the expansion of domestic railways led to an emerging demand in new freight cars. In this regard, it was decided to expand the car building at the existing factories, as well as to organize the construction of new ones. A small factory in St. Petersburg, which produced phaetons, cartridge boxes and field kitchens, in 1897 was significantly expanded and transformed into the St. Petersburg railcar plant. The characteristic features of the architectural and town-planning techniques of the late 19th - early 20th centuries were embodied in the volumetric-spatial composition of the carriage-building plant complex. The strong romantic tendencies characteristic for the industrial architecture of St. Petersburg of this period were clearly traced in its composition. For the next one hundred years, this vast space did not see any transformations, constituting a complete, self-sufficient environment. The railcar plant, originally constructed at the very end of the 19th century, remained standing near Moscovskaya Zastava until the early 21st century. In 2013, the industrial area ceased its existence, and the former plant was given away for residential development.

Introduction. The purpose of the article is to assess the economic consequences of the transfer in 1947 of the director of the Urals Machine-Building Plant (UZTM) B. G. Muzrukov into the system of the Soviet atomic project for the subsequent development of production at UZTM. B. G. Muzrukov was the main initiator, developer and organizer of the reconversion program carried out at UZTM since 1944. His transfer coincided with the height of its implementation. Materials and Methods. The authors used statistical and clerical materials on the activities of UZTM in 1946–1953. Based on the annual accounting reports of the plant for its main activities, dynamic statistical series of data were compiled on the implementation of the UZTM plan for the shaft and nomenclature of products (method of average percentage). The information obtained was analyzed in the context of the planning targets, personnel changes, and the state of production discipline at the plant. Results and Discussion. It was established that the reassignment of B. G. Muzrukov aggravated the problems associated with the implementation of the production reconversion program at UZTM. They were marked in a number of internal and external factors (drop in reporting rates, conflicts in the workforce, changes in planned buildings, adjustments to the reconversion program by the relevant ministry). Conclusion. The tested/shown method of analysis and evaluation of the results of the UZTM operation can be extended to other industrial enterprises of the USSR in the 1940s–1950s. The subsequent analysis of the data in dynamics and comparison will allow the professional community to expand its own understanding of the specifics of the functioning of the industry in the period of the late Stalinism.

Changes in the dimensions of the main bore of the cylinder of a "ТМЗ-450Д" diesel engine in the technological process of its mechanical and thermal treatment at the Tula Machine-Building Plant are analyzed. The accepted sequence of operations is presented: turning with CNC — aging — boring — aging — honing — aging — honing — honing — honing — aging. An incorrect choice of the cylinder basing scheme was noted during the first operations. A new version of the technological process of mechanical and heat treatments is proposed, including natural aging and the use of double boring on a modular boring machine, which made it possible to reduce the number of honing operations to one, including rough and finish steps. Keywords: shape and size errors, aging, dimensional changes, basing, boring, honing, Abbot diagram. [email protected]

The paper provides an overview of the main activities of JSC NPO Lavochkin from the 30s of the last century till present, and also a description of promising projects. Diversified programs for development and production of space complexes for scientific investigations of deep and adjacent space objects are presented. For the 75th anniversary of the foundation of RSC Energia, touchpoints between the veteran space enterprises are discussed. Consideration is given to the issue of transferring the lunar and planetary subject of OKB-1 to the team of S.A. Lavochkin machine-building plant and assigning Georgy Nikolaevich Babakin to a position of the chief designer. The tasks being solved by spacecraft and the ways of their implementation are briefly analyzed. The near-term prospects of national and international space programs are outlined. Keywords: Lavochkin, Babakin, Luna, Venera, Mars series spacecraft, astrophysical observatories, hydrometeorological spacecraft, Fregat upper stage.

The era of globalization has an impact on changes in various aspects, including business competition which has become increasing tightly. More and more competitors and high business competition require organizations to have high knowledge and abilities to be able to compete. Changes that occur due to globalization require companies to be able to establish strategies related to improving performance. Tire manufacturing in Banten is one of companies which are faced with business competition in which the company has fairly tight competitors. The Building Plant, Department T, is one of the parts in the organizational structure of this tire company, where the department is also required to meet the performance indicators set by the company. Many factors affect employee performance including training, work discipline and organizational commitment. This study aims to determine the effect of training, work discipline and organizational commitment on employee performance in tire companies in Banten. This study uses a quantitative approach with data analysis in testing the measurement model and testing the structural model using SmartPLS version 3.2.7 software. The results show that training has a significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee performance, and training, work discipline and organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee performance.

a spatio-temporal analysis of the main indicators of the water quality of the Hodza River, the change in time of water quality along the river under the conditions of anthropogenic impact is carried out. In general, the waters of the river are characterized as “extremely dirty”. Among the pollutants, iron and ammonium nitrogen compounds absolutely prevail. There is a tendency to some improvement in the quality of river waters downstream. In the upper reaches, the COD is 1.7 and 2.5 times higher than in the middle and upper reaches; BOD – 1.6 and 2.3 times, respectively.
