This paper chose 5~31.5 mm coarse aggregate (commonly used in highway) to supersede 5~20 mm, 20~40 mm double-graded coarse aggregate (commonly used in airport pavement), studying the influence of 5~31.5 mm coarse aggregate on the airport pavement concrete. The results show that the flexural strength and loss rate of relative dynamic elastic modulus of airport pavement concrete prepared with 5~31.5 mm coarse aggregate meet the airport pavement design requirement, the optimum mix amount is the water-cement ratio of 0.40 and the unit cement consumption of 330 kg/m3, and for frost resistance durability after 200 freeze-thaw cycles, the relative dynamic elastic modulus is still above 90%.

In this paper, a new method is proposed to measure the early shrinkage of airport pavement concrete material. Also, the effect of fly ash with different grades and dosage on early shrinkage and late shrinkage deformation of commercial concrete were studied. The effect of fly ash with different grades and dosage on volume stability of commercial concrete was assessed by using the test method of shrinkage cracking, and the causes and mechanism of the effect were analyzed.

This paper studies the influence of fly ash with different dosage and grades on the crack performance of airport pavement concrete. In order to test airport pavement concrete material accurately and quickly, Dumbbell Test Method was introduced in its early-age from pouring. Dumbbell Test Method is able to evaluate the effect of fly ash with different grades and dosage on volume stability of airport pavement concrete. This paper also studied the mechanism of the influence of fly ash crack performance of airport pavement concrete.

In this paper, the influence of fly ash with different dosage and grades on the crack performance of airport pavement concrete was studied. Its exercise new Dumbbell Test Method could make the airport pavement concrete material be tested accurately and quickly during early-age from pouring. The effect of fly ash with different grades and dosage on volume stability of airport pavement concrete was evaluated by Dumbbell Test Method. Also the paper analyzes the mechanism of the influence of fly ash on the crack performance of airport pavement concrete.
