Abstract. Suminto, Chilmawati D. 2019. Coexistence effect of rotifer, Brachionus rotundiformis and copepod, Oithona similis in culture media on growth performance and eggs production. Biodiversitas 20: 2396-2402. The effect of Brachionus rotundiformis, and Oithonasimilis coexistence in culture media on the growth performance and egg production were examined and it aims to know the best coexistence percentage which provides the highest growth performance and egg production of O. similis and B. rotundiformis. Experiment method was carried out in this research by using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were percentage through mix culture ratio of O.similis. and B. rotundiformis whereas those treatments were with ratio of 100% and 0% (A); 90% and 10% (B); 80% and 20% (C); 70% and 30% (D); and 60% and 40% (E), respectively. The results showed that, B. rotundiformis had a significant effect (p <0.05) on final density, population growth rate and eggs production of Oithona sp.; coexistence of 60% Oithona sp. and 40% B. rotundiformis provides the best final density for Oithona sp. (27.40±0.34 ind./ml) and B. rotundiformis (30.23±0.21 ind./ml); the highest population growth rate of Oithona sp. (0.29±0.02 ind./day) and B. rotundiformis (0.36±0.03 ind./day); and the highest egg production of Oithona sp. (18.83±0.76 eggs/ind) and B. rotundiformis (3.30±0.24 eggs/ind.). However, the mix culture of O.similis. and B. Rotundiformis may be applied in co-existent semi-mass or mass culture.

Selection programs applied to fish commodities can be done through some structured stages. The grading process is one of the critical stages of the selection program. Grading can be done by selecting a group of fish in a population that has the best growth performance. Fish groups that selection criteria for the next are maintained populations. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of grading on the growth of the gourami. This research conducted strains of giant 1gourami Jambi, Kalimantan, Majalengka, and Tasikmalaya strains. The first grading with fish body weight criteria was carried out by the time the gourami population was 11 months old, so it was obtained sub population in three sizes. Each strain is then nurtured separately. After each population months-old gourami, each individual was tagged, then maintained communally until 25 months old. Results of the experiment suggest that grading is apparently effective in affecting giant gourami growth significantly differences (P< 0.05). The implications of this research can be applied in the huge gourami selection program to produce superior strain.

İkinci bölümde ise ilçeler nüfus değişim özelliklerine göre belirli kategorilere ayrılmış ve bu kategoriler doğrultusunda ilçe tipolojileri oluşturulmuştur..ABSTRACT IN ENGLISHA District Level Analysis of Istanbul’s Population Change (2012-2017)Istanbul having the largest population of Turkey with its 39 districts is the most internal-migrant-receiving city in Turkey. Particularly in the context of rural-to-urban migration, Istanbul has been became a subject of various researches with its socio-economic and demographic features. However, the density of Istanbul’s settled population who registered other cities of Turkey is important. The main aim of this study is to analyse population growth of all districts considering the population change between 2012 and 2017, to evaluate the related factors and to develop a district typology by using the data of settled population according to their family registration in the name of reading the current countryman networks. In the first section of the study, district populations of Istanbul are examined regarding the related five-year change. Afterwards, most repeated countryman networks of all Istanbul’s districts are specified regarding the population growth rate of the registered cities. In the latter section of the study, districts were divided into categories regarding the specific population change features which help to create district typology.
