<p>The possibilities for increasing the productivity and control of the pea weevil (<em>Bruchus pisorum </em>L.) in field pea (<em>Pisum sativum</em> L.) organic cultivation by the use of following bioproducts NeemAzal T/S and Pyrethrum FS-EC (insecticides), applied individually and in combination with Polyversum (growth regulator and fungicide) and Biofa (foliar fertilizer), as well as to evaluate the stability of the used mixtures were studied. Synthetic products Nurelle D and Flordimex 420 (alone and in combination) were used as a standard. The products were applied once (at budding stage) or twice (at budding and flowering stages). The results showed that forage pea productivity was influenced positively by the application of all organic products. The plants treated with the organic combinations formed an average yield of 3190.2 kg/ha, which was only 4.7% lower than that for the synthetic combination of Flordimex+Nurelle D. The highest yield was produced under application of two mixtures: Biofa+Pyrethrum and Polyversum+Pyrethrum at budding and flowering stages (22.0 and 21.8% above untreated control, respectively). These combinations were also distinguished for their most pronounced protective effect against the attack of the pea weevil and decrease in its numbers of 37.0 and 38.5%, respectively. Pyrethrum was distinguished for a lower degree of damaged seeds and a toxic effect against the pea weevil in comparison with NeemAzal. Technologically the most valuable variant, which united high stability, productivity and protection against pea weevil, was the combination of Biofa+Pyrethrum applied twice. Further investigations are indispensible to expand the range of products (bioinsectides, biofertilizers and growth regulators), which provides good insect control and high productivity in pea organic farming conditions.</p>

Ethiopia have highly potential to produce field pea, this crops produce in Ethiopia from ancient time still now and the societies use it for different purpose such as to prepare cultural food, in household consumption and as a source of income. It is substantial crop and substitute meat nutritional value, as a source of protein. Field pea production has different constraints such as weed, disease and insect pest problems, and bruchuspisorum is major insect pest which is decline quantity of production in Ethiopia. The experiment was done at Holleta Agriculture Research center in the field condition with four replication in Completed Randomized Block Design. The objective of this study was to distinguish the exact chemical spraying time in the field to control bruchuspisorum. The variety was Adi, Wolemera, Markos and Burkitue, the chemical treatment were spraying during, early flowering, flat and full podded as recommended level, three times in every week. As a result there was significance difference between pre flowering chemical spraying time, flat podded spraying and full podded spraying time, on the number of larvae per pod (F13,18 at 0.005=11.13, p<0.0001). There was least recorded of number of larvae on per pod in full and flat pod spraying time. Even if there was no significance difference among the flat and full podded spraying time, in full podded spraying time, there was no larvae recorded totally. So in order to manage field pea bruchuspisorum in the field condition, the chemical spraying must be started from flat podded and will continued until to full podded.

The purpose of the research is to identify effi cient microfertilizers and growth stimulants considering biologi- cal features of new corn hybrids of different FAO groups under irrigation conditions in the South of Ukraine and trace their impact on grain productivity of the plants. The methods of the research are the fi eld method – to study the interaction of the research object with experimental factors of the natural environment, to register the yield and evaluate the biometrical indices; the laboratory method – to measure soil moisture, grain moisture content and grain quality indices; the statistical method – to evaluate the reliability of the obtained results; the calculation methods – for economic and energetic assessment of the growing techniques used. The results of the research. The paper defi nes the impact of microfertilizers and growth stimulants on the yield and grain quality of the corn hybrids of different maturity groups and on the economic effi ciency of growing them. The conclusions of the research. Under irrigation conditions of the Southern Steppe of Ukraine it is recommended that the following hybrids should be grown in dark-chestnut soils: early maturity DN Pyvykha, medium-early Skadovskyi, medium maturity Kakhovskyi and medium-late Arabat, using the growth stimulants – treating the seeds with Sezam-Nano and fertilizing with Grainactive at the stage of 7–8 leaves.
