Abstract NODULOY is a magnesium inoculated ductile cast iron in which the graphite is in the nodular form. It offers excellent castability, high mechanical properties, good machinability, pressure tightness, high modulus, and excellent shock resistance. It has extraordinary high ductility in the annealed state. This datasheet provides information on composition, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, and machining. Filing Code: CI-1. Producer or source: Dominion Wheel & Foundries Ltd.
